This is for a weekly prompt on Twitter. Today’s theme is “Dog” Have a dogboi
Hey so I get this question a lot and I avoid it because I am NOT good at making tutorials and explaining things but at this point I get it so often I should at least TRY. (ALSO THANK YOU IM VERY FLATTERED)
I wanna start off by saying this is NOT an “anatomy” tutorial. I recommend looking at an in-depth anatomy tutorial and learning to understand the placement of muscles and structure first (I still struggle with this). This tutorial is only going to serve the purpose of making anatomy MORE BIG.
Let me go ahead and say that “bara” is an umbrella term used by western fanbases that have adopted the word to mean LARGE mens. Because of this, I tend to only consider guys who are larger than average to be bara. This means that athletic bodies on the REALISTIC scale, are not bara by my standards. I dont care how shredded they are. IMO the whole point of bara is to be bigger than actually possible. Or at least, more swollen looking than actually possible.
A lot of being able to do this comes from the SHOULDERS directly. The bigger the shoulders, the more weight they can carry. This means that the bigger the shoulders, the bigger the chest and arms can be. This ridiculous upper body is what will structure the entire character’s silhouette to be “bara”. If you feel like your drawing just isn’t “bara” enough just keep making the shoulders bigger until you’re satisfied. Don’t be afraid of the head being a little smaller than normal, that’s actually done in professional work as well to make character look bigger/taller.
Going back to the “Bara-San” image, go ahead and EXAGGERATE the fuck out of these parts of the body. Eventually you’ll be making lorge unstoppable guys with enough bara tiddy to breastfeed the whole family.

Flaming Poisoning Raging Sword Of Doom Inktober, Day 6: Sword
Redrew a piece I made a little over a year ago…. yay for improvement!
This is from Inktober last year, and was one of my first TAZ fanarts. It’s Magnus with the Flaming Poisoning Raging Sword of Doom in all of his (um, very naked) glory from THAT scene.
We have fun here, folks.
[Start description: A black and white drawing of Magnus Burnsides. He is a muscular, naked human with light skin, dark hair, and thick sideburns. He’s in three quarters profile holding aloft the Flaming Raging Poisoning Sword of Doom, having just sliced through three black smoke like shapes in front of him that partially obscure him. End description.]
Promise to myself: if I get my 8page comic assignment done early then I’ll draw a bunch of naked Mangoes
Also me instead of working on my 8page:
