Thinking a lot about Lark’s 3 moms and the leafbugs in general lately!!

FUN FACT giant leafbugs irl are almost all female, with males being so rare they reproduce mostly asexually via parthenogenesis! Hence why Lark looks so very much like his birth mother, as that form of reproduction is comparable to cloning.

I find it fun implementing real world bug facts in character design! : D
