Kindling a fire from Within

The dark always harbored terrible creatures and fears throughout time. Though for this one night,within the darkness lingered a dark Fae that searched for her absent lover. It took longer than usual, but the dark Fae known as Maleficent was able to find Nero the Sable. A low chuckle escaped her lips as her lanky arms casually found their way his waist within the darkness. An area where she knew the two of them didn’t have to worry about any ‘hero’ of light to disturb them.

“It’s been far too long since we’ve shared an embrace...has it not,beloved?”She whispered softly. @sabeltsviet

“Why Pete..that’s what we must journey and find out,yes? It’s said to be in a land where great warriors fought each other. Though there are a few worlds that fit that description.” She chuckled softly.

A low chuckle could be heard from behind one of the large trees as Maleficent casually walked out towards the young fighter. “Now, now..no need to have a high tempter,child. Surly I don’t need to introduce myself, do I?”

Maleficent smiled a Pete and curled her hand towards her chest. “That’s rather interesting. I would never have though that you, of all people, would have such admiration for me, Pete.” She chuckled softly.  “Never the less,we have a job to do. We can linger upon such simple things another time.”

Pete couldn’t help but grin by the mistress seem intriguing of his devoted for her with him nodded his head of course got his chin jiggle of how big it was of her reminded him they had a job to do 

 “Oh yeah I almost forgot about that now what the plan again do we set some traps for those losers that get in our way?”

“Those fools are none of our concern at the moment. Let them go about their business. For now, we must find the black box. It’s been foretold that a great secret is hidden within it.” 

She smirked at Pete,”We..must be the first to find it.”

@felinexprotector  Upon hearing rumors that her servant, Pete, has a son, Maleficent simply had to see this with her own eyes. Of course, she couldn’t make a dark corridor inside of the castle. However, Maleficent could certainly meet with this so called son outside of those light protected wall. She watched one afternoon when the boy in question was fighting heartless. A little annoying to the mistress of darkness, but alas, she could push this to the side for now. However, Maleficent was surprised to see how..smart and talented he was.  ‘Hm..perhaps I can make use of him?~’ She thought, smirking from afar as she wondered how good his senses for darkness was.

With some worlds already fallen to darkness, and her master plans slowly coming together, Maleficent was soon becoming proud of herself for breaking Pete out of that isolated cell. He had, finally, become useful to her.

Every great ruler needed a lacky after all. And Pete sure did fit that bill rather nicely.

“Why Pete, isn’t it obvious? Now that things are coming together, isn’t about time we move our base of operations to something..more suitable? This tower here in Hollow Bastion has served its purpose. I want you to look for something better.”She gently pets her familiar, who was sitting upon her shoulders. “I can trust you with this, yes?”

“You don’t say?” Maleficent slowly smirked at Pete’s words. Truth be told, she was actually a little amused by this.

“Those are some bold words to say, Pete.” She chuckled softly and tilted her head to the side slightly with her sharp eyes watching her lacky carefully. “If I didn’t know any better, I’d say you have some admiration for me. Or..is it something more?” Maleficent asked in a teasing tone.

It was another disappointing night at the tower in Radiant Garden, where Maleficent plotted her revenge upon all who upheld the light. Honestly, it was positively sickening knowing that several of her plans have fallen through. Be it for one reason or another.

Of course, she had Pete to assist her. But by all that was dark, he had failed her so many times it was a wonder why she even kept him around these days.

Still, aside for her pet crow, Diablo, Pete was rather loyal to her. Which now made Malficent ponder. ‘Why..?’

Her pricing dark eyes glared over the valley of stones.

Pete laugh sinister after the heartless devour another poor victim hearts when they got in the shadows way then after they was done demolish the person open an dark portal on the town he in to the castle where maleficent was and smile when he spotted the female he so loyal to as he wave to get her attention

   “I’m back maleficent and that army of heartless I’m having is growing by the second so it wont’ be long till we used them to conquered the words!! he spoke in a happy tone since more then anything he wanted to impressed the women knowing she grew tired of his failures

When Maleficent heard Pete, a soft sigh left her ruby lips. Perhaps he isn’t completely useless. Her head turned slightly over her shoulder to the left as her eyes met his. 

“Is that so? Our time might come soon after all.” The dark fae mused out loud. “Tell me, Pete..you’ve served me for so long. And true, I got you out of that prison..but why do you still work for me? You have several chances to left but haven’t. I fail to understand why that is.
