She’s become kind of use to the threats constantly springing up in Ponyville, Especially since she’s become friends with Starlight.

“But how has today been crazy? I mean, Besides the most beautiful mare in Equestria making her sudden comeback…~”

“You certainly have a point there…the past few years, cataclysms have been extremely common, one of which being myself.” They just seemed to attract events like that.

Discord chuckled to himself, reaching out to boop her nose, “Me, Myself, and I were messing around with Celestia, and a few other ponies as well. It was absolute mayhem…and it’s not crazy when you return~”

"I'm not sure how wise it is to mess with Celestia, But you are a God so I suppose you don't really have to much to worry about... And while my return may not be crazy, It is a joyous occasion~! Ponies, Friends and fans alike, Have been flooding around me since the moment I got back~" She purrs, Holding her head high.

“Oh, Sunset Shimmer?” It suddenly clicked with her. “That’s right, You’re Starlight’s friend! The one from that weird alternate universe place, She’s told me about you!”

Trixie nods her head in greeting. “I’m Trixie, Or more commonly known as The Great and Powerful Trixie! It’s nice to actually meet you, Any friend of Starlight is a friend of mine… Most of the time.”

Her eyes widened at hearing who this pony was. “…Oh, this suddenly makes way more sense.” Sunset gave an awkward grin to the magician in front of her. Well this was going to be… a thing. “Yeah, that’s me!” Sunset chuckled nervously. “Sunset Shimmer! Alternate dimension astronaut-” Wait, Equestria didn’t have those yet. “Explorer. Alternate dimension explorer. Yeah.”

Why did it have to be Trixie? Of all ponies, it just had to be Trixie Lulamoon… Who had proven time and time again to be a particularly hostile and mildly annoying presence in her life. Sunset was trying to be a better mare, she really was, but the Canterlot High version of Trixie made it a point to never let her forget about her past and… ugh.

But this was a different Trixie. Equestria’s Trixie. And she said she was friends with Starlight, who was pretty cool, so… Maybe she wouldn’t be so bad?

She could tell that Sunset felt uneasy, Though from what Starlight told her, She could guess why...

"Heh, Yeah, Starlight told me how you've kinda been in the same boat as us.... Im regards to not being a great pony in the past..." She tries to give a reassuring smile. "But we've all changed for the better and are improving everyday, Right? No judgment here... I promise."

Trixie hoped Sunset could hear the sincerity in her voice. She always felt more relaxed talking to other ponies who've been in the same situation as her, It's how she befriended Starlight. She was trying to extend the same kindess and understanding Starlight showed her to Sunset now; Reformed ponies have to stick together afterall.

"Hello, Delly! It's wonderful seeing you again, I hope you've been fairing well."

Double Delight said nothing as she gave her old friend Trixie a great big hug. It was a tight one. The pink unicorn’s front hooves slightly shook, made a long, ache like sigh as she took her time in letting go of the light blue one.

It was pretty apparent that Double Delight missed Trixie badly. But had enough skill to hide it with her usual, cocky little grin across her face and calmly replied,

“Ohh, besides being wretchedly bored to tears? I’ve been doing alright..But enough about me, I want to know everything you’ve been up to my dear! Learned any new tricks in your travels?“

A warm smile crosses Trixie's face as she returns the mare's hug, Letting out her own little sigh. Sometimes she didn't even realize how much she misses her friends while she's gone.... She supposes she's just gotten use to the loneliness that comes with her profession, But it was always wonderful coming back to the kindness of friends.

"I'm sorry to hear things haven't been all that exciting, Unfortunately it's pretty much been the same for me... Seriously the only interesting things in my life seem to happen in Ponyville!" She chuckles.

Trixie looks at the mare curiously. She seemed familiar, But she couldn’t quiet put her hoof on it…

“Hello there… Forgive me, But have we met before…?” She rubs her hoof under her chin, Trying to remember. “I feel like I know you from somewhere…”

The familiarity went both ways. Had they met before? This mare seemed awfully familiar to her as well, like it was on the tip of her tongue. Somepony she knew back from her days as Celestia’s student? Or maybe the pony version of somepony from Canterlot High… Hard to say. Either way, they were probably a stranger. Oh, Celestia, she hoped so. It would be real awkward if it turned out they knew each other.

“No, I don’t think we have…” Sunset began tentatively. “But I feel like I’ve seen you around too… I can’t place my hoof on it…” She shook her head and chuckled. “Talk about double deja vu, right? I’m Sunset Shimmer. Maybe that’ll help?”

“So, Anything exciting happened since I’ve been gone? I mean, Besides the usual excitment Ponyville seems to attract; Anything majorly noteworthy, I suppose.” She asks, Curious about the others whereabouts during her absence.

“Mmm, a few near-world-ending events…but not much else until today. It was a pretty crazy day today, very fun too. Even moreso with you here, miss Trixie~” His tail was wagging as he hovered in front of her.

“And I love you…~” She purrs. “Even though you’ve trapped me…~”

“Well now that you’ve said the magic words, you can be set free~” Discord just wanted to hear her say that she still love him. His coils slowly unwound themselves from her body, but he was still face to face with her.

"Well it seems like you already know me, Though I'm not surprised, I am The Great and Powerful Trixie after all." She says with a proud and smug smile. "It's a pleasure Cooper, Always nice meeting one of my many adoring fans."

“Oh, Discord….” Trixie looked away slightly as a rush of guilt went through her. “I know, And I’m sorry… You know how busy my life can get sometimes…” She turned her head as much as she could to give his neck a small nuzzle. “I’ve missed you too, You sappy noodle…~”

“Oh, my life isn’t that much better, really. To be honest, we just both happened to be here today. I think fate likes us being together sometimes~” He let out a soft coo, turning his head about and stretching his neck so he could give her a kiss.

“I still love you dearly, Miss Trixie.”

Trixie hums happily from the kiss, Her tail wagging slightly.

"And I love you...~" She purrs. "Even though you've trapped me...~"

"Welcome back Trixie!" Copper says. "A pleasure seeing you, miss."

Trixie looked at the Stallion, Blinking a few times. "Thank you.... Random pony I've never met before...."

The mare let out a startled yell from the sudden impact, Momentarily panicking that some creature was attacking her… Until she realized it was just Discord.

“Hello Discord…” She huffs, Her voice compacted slightly from his tight embrace. “Mind easing this hug a bit before I, You know, Suffocate?”

His embrace didn’t release in the slightest, however there would be a pulse of magical energy radiating from his body, somehow making it easier to breath.

“Oh Miss Trixie…I know that distance makes the heart grow fonder…but I hate it oh so much…”

"Oh, Discord...." Trixie looked away slightly as a rush of guilt went through her. "I know, And I'm sorry... You know how busy my life can get sometimes..." She turned her head as much as she could to give his neck a small nuzzle. "I've missed you too, You sappy noodle...~"
