when people hope that zeta, zeta izar elian , renowned for his leadership, strategic skill, and intellect , won’t notice a detail , it’s courting disaster. he notices. whether he feels like bringing it up is another thing. for now, though, he sits down. first of all: it’s fucking terrible in here. of all emotions, he’d have to say, depression and despair and angst and missed opportunities are all the worst. he ought to know. lunarites aren’t immune to those things. zeta’s anxious. he’s struggled with depression. and sitting in this shop, while everything else happens, while looking at someone he thought was dead, isn’t exactly helping the cause. still, he persists.
whatever sunhi gives him, he won’t divulge ; barring fleur, of course. she’ll know what he knows, just like that. an unending current. however, if sunhi wishes no one else knows of her status , he won’t tell another soul. zeta stares at her, hard. he does maintain his balance. he does not let his anger shake his hands. ❛ no, thank you. — i don’t know where to start. to be honest….i don’t want to sound accusatory, sunny. because. – ❜ because that isn’t fair. he’s nothing if not fair. ❛ you could have asked for our help, that’s all. ❜ zeta doesn’t tell her how upset seiji and fleur were . zeta doesn’t think of her as callous enough not to know and not to feel bad about it. he thinks higher of her than that.
she gathers here often. maybe it’s because she’s becoming a little more witchy everyday --- wouldn’t that be ironic. sunhi, the girl who dabbles in everything to prevent being overwhelmed becoming overwhelmed by it all. the irony ! a sigh. “ you can be as accusatory as you’d like. you wouldn’t be wrong. i left. left you all the dark. i know seiji missed me. tried calling me for days until i shut my phone off. “ however, his offer for help makes her stiffen. other people ---- getting involved in her problems, for HER sake. this is what leads them all to die. she shakes her head.
“ i can’t do that. zeta --- about the baby thing --- i could’ve asked for help. i should’ve come to you guys ------ && i’m sorry. but the reason i left was more than --- more than i think you could help with.” it’s anxiety giving to her. her ring lays tarnished on her finger. she’s becoming more battered by the day. “ ---- i know it upset everyone, but if what i think is to come -- comes, then i needed to leave.” the despair in the atmosphere worsens. it’s reactionary to her emotions. the shop is a CONSTRUCT // a magical place of solitude. she’d fight witches here --- allow them to rot in her unbridled rage && eager livings, but now she’s trapped here. alone in her own despair.
“ i’m sorry zeta. i really am.” she looks to him, finally meeting his eyes. she wishes she could be a leader like him --- far stronger. but even a wish didn’t give her that. “ i don’t ----- i don’t know what else to say.”
again, that must be nice. zeta’s thinking nothing of the sort right now. with the gradual filling of the moon ; aggression and irritation rises . inhabitants of the moon are subjects to the curses of its light, as well. not just the wolves. a shame, that there had been no method of getting their help . rest assured, their help ( their: zeta and fleur’s ) would have been extended. zeta watches her kick at the dirt. takes that as an anxious sign . he doesn’t, however, change the nature of his stare. he’s willing to hear it, he supposes. but tread carefully, regardless of the story. ❛ lead the way. since it was you who was so surprised to see me. ❜
“ i’m only surprised since --- this isn’t the best part of town. not really a place i’d expect to see you.” though, she’s caught glimpses of them. some days she walks && walks, finding herself back in their old area. she saw him leading seiji home, him && fleur strolling about. she didn’t speak though. didn’t think she deserved too. maybe that’s all part of being soulless. “ but yeah, follow me.” a turn on her heel && she’s off, hands jammed in her pockets. she’s not in her trademark skates today. she hasn’t eaten much these past few weeks && getting on those skates would be a faulted suicide ( attempt ).
the shop is close by. it’s dark. it’s quiet && filled with the despair of missed opportunities && angst. sunhi spends most her time here now. she hopes zeta won’t notice the light that has drained from her skin --- there’s a reason why her hair isn’t blonde. “ y’want anything ? food ? coffee ? answers. just ask && you shall receive.” she moves to sit, looking at zeta. “ go ahead.”
didn’t she? (insp.)
so, isn’t it super cool when someone just disappears into thin air ? god , zeta wishes he could do that. he would never be able to stomach the guilt, however. and make no mistake, the lot of them searched. and searched. and searched before it became: she wanted to go. or perhaps something worse happened, in the end. zeta didn’t know her enough to quite miss her. but he did , in a second hand matter – fleur was in pain. sunhi had never….taken to him, he doesn’t think. and their first encounter was not a welcome one. the last time he saw her, she told him something heartbreaking. more or less. he’s staring at a ghost. fleur will feel it. ❛ if anyone should be asking that. it’s me, i think. ❜
sunhi does this often. vanishes into thin air --- without a trace, this girl goes missing, the only evidence of her existence being a few photographs and the path of her skates. she leaves when the world becomes too heavy, when it reminds her too much of her youth. this had been special however ; she’d fucked the wrong man it seems. woken up in an alley with a knife in her gut. she’d lived ( of course she had ! magick ! ) but she’d run away. she was once pregnant. she’s not anymore., she kicks at the dirt. “ yeah --- i uh --- guess you should be. coffee shop nearby. wanna go sit ? talk maybe ?”
“ zeta.” it’s not often she passes someone she knows in the streets. especially after she’d just packed up && left. her blonde hair was GONE. she was GONE. had fleur missed her ? who knows ? seiji had called && called for her --- but she doubted anyone else had missed her. “ who --- why are you in this part of town ?”

sips his tea loudly.
“ shut up.”
May 17, 2016, dawn, in KOREA
A 23-year-old woman was brutally murdered by a man whom she have never met before.
The reason he killed her is because he got ignored SOCIALLY.
He expressed his anger by killing an innocent woman randomly.
The point is that she was killed just because she is a FEMALE.
However, Korean media is not covering this crime seriously.
Because crimes similar to this happen frequently.
This is a serious female violence and a social problem.
Please mourn this woman. Please bring attention. We all have a right to live in a secure world.
Taken from Nayoung Kim:
“This is Gangnam, today. Gangnam is a bustling main street area in Seoul, South Korea, similar to Times Square in New York City. I grew up here. On the night of Tuesday, May 17, 2016, a 23-year-old woman was brutally stabbed to death with a 12-inch knife in a unisex bathroom. She had been enjoying a night out in Gangnam with her boyfriend and friends. The police arrested a 34-year-old man who confessed that he had been waiting inside the bathroom to kill any woman that walked in, because he hated women for ignoring him.
The mainstream media described this murder as a freak incident, a random killing committed by a deranged individual. Worse, many people blamed the woman for having been out drinking at night. Many others empathized with the murderer’s hurt feelings.
Feminists are naming this murder a femicide (woman killing/gender-based crime), one among too many. We recognize the connection between this woman’s murder and the murders of other women, more than a hundred women murdered by male partners every year in South Korea, hundreds of missing and murdered indigenous women and girls in Canada, hundreds more violently killed in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, women who lost their lives in the Montreal Massacre, and countless others on this planet, past, present, and future.
We will remember her death. We will fight back. We will not give up.”
-
“The man held on charges of murdering a 23-year-old woman told the police that the crime was motivated by his hatred for women.”
There’s big big problems right now in Korea against Korean women. First, the news outlets were not reporting this incident or gave it absurd titles such as “woman killed by man dreaming to become a pastor” or “woman found dead by boyfriend in public bathroom” and didn’t call it a male crime against women. Second, men reacted to this on these articles with “that’s why women shouldn’t be out at night” or “what was she doing at that bar” or “women have to be careful” or “maybe the man had his reasons”, “women should be nicer”…
Outrageous, outrageous comments.
This isn’t the first time this has happened either. There was another murder in this area just a year ago. Women have always been blamed for existing for their own murders there.
There was also hastags created to divert attention from the man’s attitude “#bathroomgirl” to which Korean twitter reacted with “#gangnamMurderMAN” and “#isurvived” because it could have been anyone this guy murdered.
He had waited for over an hour at a woman’s bathroom with a knife, waiting for a woman to murder. She didn’t even know him.
DON’T TELL WOMEN AND GIRLS TO BE CAREFUL. TELL MEN TO NOT MURDER WOMEN. 남자는 기가 죽기만 여자는 죽는다.
Nearly 85% of victims of violent crime in Korea are Korean women.

‘ no, no. first things first. care to explain what the fuck is going on? ` aw! toxicity runs raw down a slippery tongue. like sliding. sodden shifting. he clanks his jaw shut before spitting an incoherent insult where it shouldn’t be.
“ i don’t need you patronizing me. how about, just a thought, you listen to what i say ?” she snaps, in the middle of kicking off a pair of roller blades. she hadn’t marked this witch on her map. it’s her own fault, she should’ve warned him from cominb to this side of town. too many weird things happening, too many DISTORTIONS/ “ i can explain later, but right now ----- i need you to get away. that thing back there ? it’s gonna eat you.”
U N L E A S H for: anon.
“The fact of the matter is that young men lack skill and experience and are very likely to approach a girl as though she were a sack of wheat. It is the old man—suave, debonair, maturely charming—who knows exactly what to do and how to do it, and is therefore better at it.”
