A short vid of a sea hare on land.
Black sea hare! It is the largest sea slug- it can grow up to 39 inches!! The reason it is so dark compared to other nudibranches is due to its herbivorous diet of kelp and brown seaweed. It has almost no predators due to both its sheer magnitude and because the brown seaweed that it eats allows the toxin acetoxycrenulide to accumulate inside (highly toxic to fish.)
