모자를 눌러 쓰고, the third song in the TEEN,AGE album by seventeen, is a korean idiom.

it literally translates into “putting/bringing down the hat,” which, in idiomatic terms, means that when one is embarrassed or shameful, they cover their faces with a hat to not show it.

in seventeen’s case, after the song change up, which communicates that the group is going to start a new beginning by the leaders, 모자를 눌러 쓰고 conveys seventeen’s regrets as a group and states they are going to change altogether. then in clap, they portray the powerful change they are finally starting on.

if you didn’t know, in seventeen’s mnet showcase, the members said that the first three songs (excluding the intro) are a trilogy of their development for this comeback.

what is this i hear about pledis severely under-stocking svt's newest album? did they fuck up?

apparently the teen, age albums are understocked except for green ver (?). i saw a tweet yesterday reporting physical album sales (here) and the amount sold is extremely low compared to al1 sales. (they would usually hit the 6 digit range in a few days but it barely reached five today). considering pledis went all out and made four versions of the album, this is kind of a disappointment tbh lol. physical sales are seventeen’s strong point so this could affect their physical sales score on music chart rankings as well :(( i’m not sure how fast they can get more printing but hopefully they’ll restock soon
