20150318 Kis-My-Radio Tamamori Yuta x Miyata Toshiya
Note: You can listen to the audio here. The part of the audio which is translated ends at 9:25, at which point Tamamori begins the weekly announcements.
Tamamori: We’ve received a submission for ”Arigachi Danshi”* from pen name Main-chan: boys who secretly start the same hobby as the girl they like and then try to pretend that they just happen to like it too.
Miyata: Oh, that’s me! That’s so Miyata!
T: Oh, you’re so annoying!
M: It’s like, I feel like I can relate.
T: Yeah, it’s like boys want to leave a good impression on the person they like so that’s probably why they do stuff like this, you know?
M: Yeah. What about you, Tama? Do you go along with the person that you like?
T: Me? I don’t think I really tried to match other people.
M: You didn’t? So it was more like you wanted people to adjust to you?
T: No, it was never really like that either.
M: Oh, like you want to be free to be yourself?
T: So, wait. With this, you’re saying you did stuff like this?
M: For me, I don’t know, but I like having things in common with the person I like.
T: In common, yeah?
M: Yeah, I actually like being the same.
T: The same, yeah, the same, I get it.
M: So, in elementary school...well, you know, there are those girls, like you get a crush on someone, even in elementary school, so there was this one time I had my mom buy me a pencil case that had the same character on it as the one this girl I like used.
T: That’s so cute!
M: So this pencil case, it had a frog character on it.
T: (laughs) I’m pretty sure I know what you’re talking about.
M: You do? You know, the kerokero one?
T: Yeah.
M: Right? After that happened, I actually liked kerokero a lot.
T: Kero Kero Kero-beep,* right?
M: Kero-beep (laughs). I started to think it was really cute because I knew she liked it too.
T: “Arigachi Danshi” is pretty incredible, isn’t it? It’s almost always right on.
M: It fits, right?
T: It’s really funny. Okay, shall we move on?
M: Let’s do it.
T: It’s time for Kis-My-Radio!
M: Yay!
T: Good evening, once again! I’m Kis-My-Ft2’s Tamamori Yuta.
M: And I’m Miyata Toshiya!
T: We’re broadcasting to our listeners across the nation from Nippon Cultural Broadcasting. Tonight the two of us bring you Kis-My-Radio.
M: Yay!
T: It finally happened, huh? A radio show with me and M.
M: Okay, what’s with the M?
T: Lately, I thought I would try out calling you that. M.
M: With you like writing M in your Kiss Log on Johnny’s Web and stuff and coming to ask me when we’re deciding positions for choreography, like “M, what number are you?” I’ve been wondering, seriously, why M?
T: It’s new, isn’t it? M?
M: New? The only one who calls me M is you, Tama.
T: I know. That’s why I thought it would be good.
M: Okay, I’ll call you T then.
T: T or whatever is fine. They do that on foreign dramas a lot, don’t they?
M: That’s true.
T: Like they call each other by their initials. So I was thinking this could be the start of a trend in Japan.
M: It’s like, you hear Arashi’s Ninomiya-kun call Matsumoto-kun J all the time on TV.
T: Oh, it’s the same.
M: I was wondering if it could be the same nuance?
T: It’s the same emotionally.
M: Seriously?
T: Yeah, maybe the thought we put into it is similar. But the two of us, we’re, you know?
M: What’s that?
T: The ultra close super in love duo, right?
M: Tanmamiya, right?
T: Yeah, because we’re Tanmamiya. Have we gone anywhere together lately?
M: Have we? On one of our Tanmamiya trips? I can’t think of anything.
T: Oh, we went to, you know, the appliance store. That’s probably about it though, right?
M: Oh yeah, we did go to the appliance store.
T: Just the two of us.
M: We did.
T: The two of us bought like beauty products and stuff together. For no reason.
M: We did (laughs). I bought one of those things that vibrates your excess fat away.
(Both laugh)
T: It’s not really something we should be laughing about like that.
(Both laugh)
M: Tama, you had your birthday, right?
T: Yeah.
M: Well, right now because we’re still recording this, it isn’t your birthday yet.
T: Not yet.
M: It isn’t your birthday yet, but it’s tomorrow? Or the day after?
T: You- did you forget when my birthday is?
M: No, no, no, it’s not that. It’s just that I’m not sure what today is.
T: Today’s the 16th.
M: Okay, so it’s tomorrow. Okay, tomorrow, so I’m still a day early, but happy birthday!
T: Oh, thank you!
M: I thought about it, and I wanted to do something for your birthday. I really wanted to, but we have work until really late tomorrow, right? So we can’t do anything.
(Silence)
(Miyata laughs)
T: Yeah, that’s how it is. That’s how it turns out. It’s so stupid.
M: Well, but, you know, today I had a request from Tama-san for his birthday present. He said I should buy him some anime DVDs. With anime DVDs, though, each one actually costs quite a bit.
T: It’s not about the price!
M: They’re like 6000 yen each. So if you were going to buy all the episodes, for someone like me who’s like the king of saving money, it’s a pretty heavy expense.
T: Well, if you’re the king of saving, you should be able to buy it right away.
M: Anyway, I’ll start looking for them for now.
T: I heard that anime was pretty popular, but I don’t know how to buy anime DVDs. I’m pretty sure people who are into it know the right kind of places to buy and stuff.
M: Yeah, that’s true.
T: Plus, if it’s M, you have the means where you can deal with this
M: M, right.
T: So, that’s why I asked you.
M: Well, I’ll give it my best and look around.
T: Thank you.
M: I might not make it in time for your birthday though.
T: Okay, I’m looking forward to it.
M: Okay.
T: Alright, I’m counting on you for the rest of the program.
M: Yeah.
T: Let’s go ahead and listen to a song. M, if you could introduce it?
M: Okay then, M is going to introduce the song. This is the first radio play for the B-side from our new single “Kiss Damashii,” which will be released on March 25. Please listen to Kis-My-Ft2 with “Shake Body”!
T: For those just tuning in, I’m Kis-My-Ft2’s Tamamori Yuta.
M: And I’m Miyata Toshiya!
T: We’re broadcasting Kis-My-Radio from Nippon Cultural Broadcasting to listeners across the nation. Now it’s time for Kis-My-Message, where we read letters we’ve received from our listeners.
M: Yay!
T: We’ve have some messages, don’t we?
M: We’ve gotten a lot of Kis-Messages.
T: “Kis-Messages”? You mean Kis-My-Message?
M: I shortened it.
T: Okay, should we read one?
M: Can I?
T: Let’s do it.
M: Okay, I’m going to go ahead and read it.
T: Go ahead.
M: This message is from Nanami-san in Fukuoka Prefecture: “Good evening, Kisumai!”
T: Good evening!
M: “My friends at school often tell me that I have nice legs and a good figure. Of course, I’m very flattered, but I never know how I should respond. If I say thank you, my friends will think I’m vain or call me a narcissist. If I were to do the opposite and deny it, however, they’ll think I’m being sarcastic. What the best way to respond in this kind of situation. Please tell me your thoughts!”
T: This is hard.
M: Tama-san, you get told things like you have a good figure.
T: I think, it’s like, she actually does have a nice body, right? So if she says, “Oh no, I don’t,” it’s just going to come off as disagreeable. That’s why in this case I think the best thing to do is just be truthful.
M: I see. Like, “Yeah, I have nice legs.”
T: Saying something like “I have way nicer legs than you guys” is nicer, isn’t it?
M: It is. I’ve never really been told things like that, so I actually was curious what you would say, Tama-san.
T: I don’t really get told stuff like that either. Not that often.
M: Oh really? People don’t say that?
T: Guys don’t really talk about that kind of stuff together, right?
M: I guess that’s true.
T: I think girls tend to talk about things like that way more often.
M: Yeah, you’re right.
T: You’ve never had something like that happen to you?
M: Me?
T: Yeah.
M: Let’s see, for me, I get told things like, “Oh, you have a big nose.”
(Both laugh)
M: I get teased a lot about different parts of my face being big.
T: That’s just bad mouthing you to your face.
M: Yeah. Like, “Your nose is big! No, not like that. I’m saying that it’s tall. It’s a compliment!” When that happens, I usually cover by saying, “Yeah, it’s bigger than yours.” Like, “Your eyes are really big!” “Yeah, bigger than yours.”
T: It makes you sound stuck-up.
M: It does, but usually if I act annoying enough about it, people will laugh about it.
T: Really?
M: Yeah.
T: Annoying, huh?
M: I think being a little annoying is good.
T: Yeah, that’s true. She should just be honest about it. Probably.
M: Yeah.
T: That’s hilarious.
M: Should I read one more? I’ll just read it straight out.
T: Yeah, quickly.
M: There was one message that I was curious about. This is from Yuki-san in Aichi Prefecture: “Recently, I experienced something shocking. When I borrowed my grandpa’s computer, there were porn sites in his browsing history. It felt like I’d seen something I shouldn’t have, so I quickly closed the computer. I’m not sure how to come to grips with this. Kisumai, please give me some advice.” So she wants to know how to accept this about her grandpa.
T: Well, it’s an unchangeable fact of life.
M: “Unchangeable”?
T: That’s how it is.
M: An unchangeable fact about her grandpa.
T: Exactly. It’s not going to change. Men are always going to look no matter what.
M: But, it’s like, more than a grandpa who doesn’t look at stuff like that, a grandpa who does is kind of, you know?
T: Yeah, like youthful.
M: ...and kind of cute. It’s nice.
T: For us, it’s not surprising in the least that he was looking.
M: Yeah, that’s true.
T: People look at porn sites!
M: (laughs) Tamamori-san, Tamamori-san, maybe you shouldn’t be saying things like that.
T: No, no, I’m not saying if I look or not.
M: Just if guys do?
T: Yeah.
M: You’re saying guys look.
T: Yeah, exactly. It’s not a problem at all.
M: So, Yuki-san, it’s not a problem. There’s nothing wrong with it.
T: There’s no need to worry about it.
M: So the conclusion is you don’t need to worry about it too much. I think we were able to give some good advice, don’t you?
T: Yeah, it was good. We got through two letters too.
M: Yeah, we were able to read two. We did pretty good.
T: Alright, please keep sending in your letters! That’s all for Kis-My-Message!

Tamamori Yuta x Miyata Toshiya: Unit Song “BE LOVE”
Miyata: We came up with the phrase “BE LOVE” together to represent us becoming love.
Tamamori: “BL” for short!
M: We thought we would be open and show the relationship between Tama and I as people think of it.
T: The lyrics fit us perfectly. It’s like this song was destined for us, right?
M: Yeah. It’s not written in the lyrics, but there’s a part where we have spoken lines during the interlude that everyone should pay attention to. We were looking into each other’s eyes, and we recorded ourselves saying, “I love you,” together.
T: The only one who enjoyed doing that was you! I thought it was pretty uncomfortable.
M: What?! Hold on!
T: No, I mean, I’m passionate about this song too. I just think it’s obvious that you love me too much.

If someone is interested in taking over please send an ask and I will add you as admin and give you the blog. Otherwise I’m just going to delete it in about a week’s time.

Edit:
Hello! The blog won’t be deleted or closing any longer now.
from report of Tamamori's solo episode of Kisumai Radio, on Wink Up.
(top right image - when the result of "Kisumai Dice" is Miyata) "Miyata! It's Miyata!"
(left photo) "I understand Miyata the most, and Miyata also understands me the most"
interview to Duet journalist after the recording (text not pictured): "I thought I wouldn't get Miyata so I was surprised! Moreover, the characters "Miyata" were facing properly my way... So, since if I talked deeply Miyata would get cocky, this time I just talked shallowly. Eh? Was it deep? If I have another episode alone I'll talk about Miyata for 20 minutes! (laugh)
Hi. First of all, I would like to thank you for this wonderful tumblr :) Thanks to your posts, I get to know more about Miyatama, thus my love for this amazing pairing just deepens ^^ Secondly, as a Miyatama shipper, what do you think about the recent rumors regarding Tamachan being with Akkina, as well as with Miori Takimoto? Thanks in advance :)
Miori wishes XD she looked like she really liked Tama but if Tama liked her back he did a good job at hiding it.
As for Akkina, a lamp doesn't prove anything (considering the fact Tama still lives with his parents - does Akkina live with the Tamamoris? XD) so I'd take that with a grain of salt, but anyway if Tama has a girlfriend and they make each other happy, my congratulations to them :D it's not like he'll stop talking to Miyata or having a special bond with him. They went through too many things for their friendship to be ruined by one of them having a girlfriend, at least that's what I think.
