Steam finally decided to behave, so I can post my emotional rambling, and you’ll just have to endure it. 😄

Is it crazy to say that I’m more proud of The Wedding than When Life Gives You Lemons? Don’t get me wrong, I love both, and Lemons is probably the game that got me where I am since so many people resonated with it.

But as far back as I can remember, I’ve always wanted to make a Visual Novel, and now, four years later, with so much support from this community and a crash course in learning how to code in Ren’Py, it’s finally done. I finally published my first VN.

The graphics, the story, the characters... I love them all.

Micah holds a special place in my heart because I never thought I could create a character that sassy and still have readers fall in love with them. Cassidy was a last-minute addition and somehow became one of my favorite romances (sorry, I’m biased). Tara/Tariq is incredibly sweet, and their artwork with the bonnet is still one of my favorites.

And then there’s Danny and Taylor. All of them are so different, yet somehow they all came alive as I write every little scene and every little dialogue.

Yes, the launch was delayed on Steam because Steam needed to approve the page, and yes, I was kind of bummed out and was waiting before I made an official announcement.

But, Hey! It's finally available on Steam. 💕

This was a passion project; the game is nowhere near perfect, but I love it, flaws and all, and I’m incredibly proud of it.

[WIP] La Cosa Tua – Chapter One Demo

Hello Everyone! I'm so pleased to announce the La Cosa Tua demo is now live!

An offer you can't refuse. A family obligation. The chance of a lifetime. Call it whatever you will…you're in the Mafia now.

You always imagined your return to Manhattan would be for some family obligation or another, and fate has proven you right because today you find yourself back home for your father's funeral. A high-level member of the Cantrella Crime Family, your dad was gunned down on the streets of Hell's Kitchen, his own turf, and left for dead.

The NYPD isn't all that concerned with finding the motive behind your father's murder, but unfortunately for you, Special Agent J. Day of the FBI is. And while you may not be at the top of the agent's suspect list, you are a person of interest and will be watched.

There's also Luca Bonaccorso to contend with. The underboss of the rival Bonaccorso Family, Luca was already making moves on your father's assets before your plane even landed in New York. Your brother should be stepping in to stop Luca, but unfortunately, he's in jail on some other, unrelated charge.

But none of this should matter, right? You were sent away to boarding schools, then college, to be kept as far away as possible from your father's shady business dealings. You have nothing to do with the mob.

Until today.

The moment the funeral's over, you are called to meet with Don Cantrella, your father's boss, and the boss of the entire Cantrella Family.

The Don has decided that you will step into your father's shoes and take over running Hell's Kitchen on behalf of the Cantrellas. But, as with everything in the Mafia, there's a catch. The Don is imposing an "inheritance tax" on you, a $100,000 honorarium that is due in one year's time—with compounding interest. Once the debt is paid however, you do get a choice—join the Cantrellas as an active, earning member, or consider the money a buyout fee and walk away from mob life forever.

How you make your money is up to you. Will you build your father's criminal empire back to what it once was? Or will you take his old operation legit, weeding out the loan sharking, gambling, and protection rackets bit by bit?

You could also help the FBI tear down the Mafia from the inside out. Or not. Or maybe you could play some dangerous cat-and-mouse games with a man who might have you whacked if you gain too much power.

Cursed Covenant: Demonic Pursuit Information

As Cursed Covenant is now released, I've put together a small information post. So if you've missed any news or previous chapters, please take a look! :>

Before anything else: this is an adult game. Cursed Covenant is made for adults and deals with mature, explicit themes. It features detailed, animated sex scenes with sfx, which are not optional. These scenes are narrative-driven and play a crucial role in the story and character arcs. If sexual content isn't for you, this game likely won't be either.

Key Information:

There is one main love interest, whose gender you choose at the start: Exon, the male Magi, or Imazz, the female Magi.

A main character that's defined, yet mouldable to your taste. Princess Erinys is an established protagonist with both a background and a personality of her own, yet it's up to you to decide how she'll evolve and relate to the other characters. You can also select your own preferred name for her.

Roleplay experience. Apart from the most impactful decisions in the story, many dialogue interactions will also contain choices that merely focus on immersion. One answer is not necessarily better than another; it just offers different ways of interacting with others.

Romance. If you wish, you can explore romantic bonds with the two accompanying characters. Although not required in order to see the story to its completion, the relationships you forge with other characters will influence its development.

Turn-based battle system. While the story remains the most important element, combat will be indispensable to progress. The turn-based combat system offers three distinct and fully hand-animated characters.

Dark and emotional story. Will the princess question her own morality? Will narcissism and lust for power replace faithful bonds to become her most loyal companions? And from what prism will she judge the sins of others?
