"If you are here to try and fish me from the ocean again, uncle, I’ll poison you now before you have a chance to cast your line."
"Actually I was just here to fish for normal quarry." He answered, holding up a rod that would in no way be able to pull Jor up from the salty waters. "Though I do admit I had hoped to see you. Loki sends his care." He settled onto a rock, pulling out some bait.
Looking curiously from the waves that softly lapped the coast line, Jormungandr seemed slightly hesitant to trust the thunderer before thinking there ought to be no harm in giving him a try. Besides, he could simply jump back into the ocean. Pulling himself onto the rocks beside Thor, the god’s scaly skin of green and gold was replaced by pale flesh, the long body of a serpent turning into thin limbs, his frame all ribs compared to his uncle who looked as though he could rip the realm in two if he tried. "….Why did you hope to find me?"
He casted out his line, settling in. “Loki’s on Midgard…Exiled from Asgard for the time being. You are the one most able to go to see him and I know it would do his heart good to see at least one of his children.” He stated softly.” He looked to him. “In turn I’d like to know if he’s okay. Odin has…impeded on my ability to seek him out.”
Jorm sat beside him on the rocks, feet dangling over the edge so toes could skim the water as he thought on Thor’s request. He wanted to point out it would probably be his older brother Fenrir who was more easily able to find Loki and keep an eye on the god, but then he didn’t feel like giving up that the wolf was on Midgard, especially since he was still worried Tyr might come looking for him. "Why was he banished?" The young god asked curiously. "Did I miss something spectacular or did he just piss your father off too many times?"
"You did not hear about the invasion on New York?" He asked looking to his Nephew. "Loki was…the leader of the invasion. Between his conspiracies with the Jotun, his attempt to destroy Jotunheim, and his attempt to conquer Earth Odin," A bit of anger and disguise color the man’s eyes at the mention of the god-king’s name. "Grew angry and impatient with him…" He continued before sighing. "That was a few years ago."
He reeled the line in some. “I worry for him.” Thor admitted. “And I do not feel that the punishment was fair…he wasn’t even allowed to speak in his defense and something was…Odd about how he acted after he was captured.”
"I did… I was just too far away." The serpent admitted a little begrudgingly, having missed out on New York as he had been across the northern coast of Norway in colder waters. "I heard you had trashed the place though along with a few interesting creatures…." Swallowing some sharp remark that maybe his father had finally snapped and lost the plot, Jorm feel silent as he glanced at the water he softly treaded. "You could ask him yourself." He suggested. "If you can’t find him, I will… but I don’t think he would wish to speak with me, or he would have looked by now."
"I don't know." Thor admitted. "His power was restrained...and he did admit to me, before our fight, that he feared that you children hated him." He stated softly. "He blames himself for Odin's taking you way." He looked up at Jormungandr. "But never doubt that Loki does care for you and will be over joyed to see you."
