Who tells Kenyan stories like we do?
When we recently won a new account in a pitch against two expatriate-led agencies, the new client made it clear to us that they awarded us the account primarily because we had demonstrated that we were able to create communication from a Kenyan point of view. We were able, they said, to tell Kenyan stories as only Kenyans could. And so we began a process of introspection. Who are we? What do we stand for? And what do we bring to the table? The result was this self-promo campaign that aims to position us as the quintessential Kenyan agency. The agency that tells Kenyan stories as only Kenyans can. To underscore these Kenyan credentials, we chose to use vernacular art, often riddled with typographical errors and local language inflections to tell our clients and potential clients that no one tells Kenyan stories- verbally and visually- as well as we do.
Really love this campaign and what they did here. Shoutout to you guys OG+A - agency promotional advertising that stands out!
