Autumn in New York feels like home. Everything is grey, except for the leaves, and if they close their eyes and breathe deeply they would swear they're in London.

Thank every fucking god there's ever been that they're not.

Prospect Park is damp, dreary, and overcast. It's a nice day. They have a book on their lap as they sit on a bench, right ankle resting on left knee, glasses perched on their nose. They can all but sense someone standing just in front of them, so, after turning the page of the crime novel they're reading, they speak up: "You can sit down, you know."
