Jang Junho hated children, with the sole exception of one.  They were loud, they cried, they smelled, and they always managed to maintain a certain level of stickiness that was utterly unacceptable to him.  If he could, he would wipe the Earth of every child, minus the one that he actually cared about. But she was on the other side of the globe, and he was somehow still roped into watching a kid. Minutes passed, and he made small talk.  What was his name?  Lim Mason.  Age?  Somewhere between two and five, judging by the number of tiny fingers he had held up.  What did he like to do? Eat ice-cream and play.  Not before long, the fellow student returned to his side, looking somewhat perplexed.  âI didnât do shâ⊠I didnât do anything,â God, he hadnât had to watch his mouth in quite a while.  Glancing down to Mason, he shrugged, âNot as bad as I thought heâd be.â
It was shocking to say the least, to come back and find Mason behaving like some sort of angel. Her eyes narrowed, arms crossing over her chest as she bent down to inspect him. It wasnât long before she started laughing, hands resting on the toddlerâs elbows. âYou have to tell me your secret. Masonâs been throwing tantrums all day. I didnât think Iâd be able to calm him down long enough to get a coherent word out of him.â Subin smiled thankfully, head turning to glance over at the older male. âNot as bad, eh?â The small child wrapped his hand around Subinâs index finger, lips twisted in a grin. âHow come you behave like a little demon for me, Mace? Hm, do you not love your unnie?â She questioned playfully, only to be met with a string of giggles. âSeriously though, I feel like I owe you something for looking after him and not kidnapping him.â
