[🌙 ] luna could only shrug, knowing she could never slander the ‘’saint’’ that was her mother. “in the beginning i want to say that perhaps she was more interested in the money than him. i mean, he is chinese and we know how the older generation still sees them.” she didn’t want to go in detail, something about mixing her own personal opinion with political correctness didn’t sit right with her. “after a while he won her over. i’ve always liked him. he’s not a bullshitter. he tells it like it is. i like that about a person.” she bit down on her bottom lip. the comment ‘if he wasn’t my step-dad he’d be my future husband,’ dying on the back of her tongue. again, she shrugged. “yeah. i’m just pushing my luck at this point. recently i’ve come across a group of girls who get into it worse than i do, but even though everyone assumes they’re scum of the earth, no information has come to light to support it so… they’re still pretty successful despite all the ‘’rumors’’. my career will live to see another day.”
Juno raised an eyebrow at her words, only partially taking them in. He wasn’t necessarily interested in what she had to say, and even less interested in her personal life, but he had asked for some reason, and now he had to listen to her answer. “Sounds like a stand-up guy,” he muttered, his tone sarcastic as his lips wrapped back around the cigarette. From what he had picked up, he actually sounded a lot like his own step-father, if they just traded Chinese for Japanese. In a way, he could relate to her words. “People seem to be more up your ass than anyone else’s, from what I’ve heard. Must be because you all go to Mokwon or something. They like the idea of personally catching an idol red handed.”
