These are some doodles I did based off a piece I drew 3 years ago.

This was really an excuse to try drawing her hair better. In retrospect, her hair looked a little wonky and I don't really like how I did the rendering.

I think it makes more sense now 👍

I think there was an art trend going around with artists drawing their OCs how they looked at first vs their current design, so I wanted to try it too. To be clear, I definitely modernized my old style a LOT to make this work; my anatomy is WAY better now than before

Drew some doodles to get familiar with Invincible as well as figure out how to draw muscles. I just needed to do warm up before I started the piece I'm gonna post tomorrow

I think I mentioned it before, but I think Ryan Otley's art for the comic BANGS. Couldn't do it justice in these doodles, but his style helped me figure it out a little bit. Shoutout to Cory Walker too of course. I think his recent work for Invincible looks really good

I've been doing a huge anime binge this summer with my siblings and we've settled with Ouran High as one of them. Personally, I think the show is trash. There are some stinky characters and just a LOT of controversial scenes. It’s basically, “Stockholm Syndrome: the Anime”. I will say though, the artstyle BANGS, and the only decent characters are Haruhi, her dad, Honey, Mori, and Kasanoda

Started this piece last year and finished it in January. I didn't post it at the time cause my sis suggested to try a new posting method of dumping everything when I have a bunch of pieces ready. The engagement/algorithm is apparently better that way, so that's what I'm doing 👍

I did NOT make these doodles by myself, rather HEAVILY trace what I can, then figure the rest of the drawing myself OUTSIDE of the screenshot. The only input I have done is Usopp’s change in pose, Luffy’s arm and shoulder, Zoro’s lower body in the standing doodle, and the coloring. Again, NOT COMPLETELY DONE BY ME, MAINLY SCREENSHOTS

PURPOSE:

I wanted to be able to practice coloring both digitally and traditionally (with markers). The traditional version has been posted on my side, so check it out here if you want to know more details about it. Also also, gotta make fanart now. Nobody really checks my OC shit anymore on here 🤷‍♂️

HOLY SHIT, IM GETTING INTO FANART NOW, OK GUYS, JEEEEEZ 😡

As far as my One Piece experience... I GET IT NOW GUYS. REALLY likable main cast, ADORABLE dynamics, SURPRISINGLY good writing, the comedy actually HITS... it’s PEAK. I just started watching it cause my sis wanted me to and the arc I was watching for Shippuden was DOOKIE, so I needed a pallete cleanser. And man... I didn’t just get a pallete cleanser, I got a FULL COURSE MEAL. Rn, I’m only in Drum Kingdom and I’m still pretty early in the show... but I think it is SO much better than Naruto.

Looking forward to drawing more fanart, and MUCH more so for One Piece fanart 🏴‍☠️✨

DISCLAIMER ⚠️:

The following doodles were MOSTLY TRACED and the only input I have done is the change in Usopp’s pose, Luffy’s arm and shoulder, Zoro’s lower body (doodle on right most side), and the coloring. I did NOT do the doodles on my own and HEAVILY relied on the screenshots I used

Now with that said, the PURPOSE of these doodles was to practice digital and traditional coloring AND... finally make some fanart.

If anyone asks how I did these doodles, I made the line art (TRACED FROM SCREENSHOTS) on my art program, lowered the opacity to ~30%, made the background transparent, then printed a couple copies to finish with pen and marker! Now I had a coloring page with little risk if I messed up!

Regardless, it was still pretty stressful doing the lineart and coloring. From my first and second attempts, I’ve learned that my pens can blot if stuck in too long in the same position, leave a gross trail if colored without letting the lineart to DRY, and that my colors can escape the lineart if too close to the edge

Still, pretty fun to do and test out some markers for once. Looking forward to doing this again for more practice! If anyone wants to take anything from this, just look what I had to say in the last paragraph and NOT do that

Ayo this was supposed to be a doodle bruh... WHAT HAPPENED 😳

For context, I was making a piece for a friend and decided to do a quick warm up doodle first to get comfortable drawing before diving straight in. But THIS was the doodle that came out of the warm up.

Don’t know bout ya’ll, but I just have small moments where I just POP OFF for no reason... feels good man 😇✨

Honestly, one of the BEST doodles I’ve done off rip. Came out WAY better than expected. Also also, one of the rare instances I didn’t really use a photo ref for the pose. My technique is going NUTS these days 😳

I made these BANGIN' doodles of my OCs and (FINALLY) art of some shows I like, using the following tools:

Pigma Micron Pen 08 (Lineart)

The Creative Expert Fine Liner Pens (Lineart)

The Creative Expert Alcohol Marker Set (Coloring)

Caliart Skin Tone Marker Set (Coloring)

Caliart Skin Tone Marker Set (Coloring)

I only used the Caliart markers for my OC, Inid, and for some colors for the Soul Eater doodle, but for the most part, I used the Creative Expert marker set... mostly because I bought it myself 😌

Personally, I think the set is PRETTY sweet. Bright colors, decent skin tones, and MOST IMPORTANTLY... grabbed for a STEAL!

Like... $12-15 steal (can’t remember the price exactly but it was around that much I believe). I found it randomly lying around a Ross and gotta say... VERY glad I found them and HIGHLY recommend them if you find some 😎👍

Here’s some doodles I did with some crayons. I had a Crayola: Colors of the World Set I barely used, so I tried to give it some use. Decent results, but could be better. Would love to try the colored pencil set 😁

The tones are quite nice, it’s just that I need to know a better way to sharpen them 😅
