What character are you applying for?
Why are you interested in this character?
She is my favorite of the human kids personally. I feel as though she is a strong character who I feel is always a joy to watch/listen to. Evidently, she is also very fun to roleplay as. Her character seems to come more naturally to me and I try my best to do her justice on every chat I play her in.
What is your personal interpretation of this character?
Rose would generally act level-headed and a bit of a harsh realist. Her words can be full of sarcasm at times, but usually that is more geared towards those who push her buttons all too much. In spite of her personality of being rational, she finds enjoyment through mediums of fantasy. She also enjoys studying ancient and most likely fictitious lore in her free time, constantly fascinated by it. Although a bit of a bookworm, she also enjoys watching rom-comâs in her free time, usually with friends.
I imagine her family being well off already. She probably wouldnât have ever had to get a job that paid to help for her expenses because of this. Even though she does not work, in this AU, I would imagine she would end up being the type to be thoroughly involved with attempting to either maintain or obtain a Student Council position (most likely President) whether by her own personal choice or just something to impress those further along the lines in opening future doors of the educational system. She would also most definitely be a devoted student overall, even if she doesnât much care for the class. She would probably want to enroll in a Creative Writing Course but she remains against the idea as it may prove to be a waste of an elective.
She is constantly frustrated by her status on the home front, although it proves to her to be more of nuisance rather than a complete strain on her being. She would probably end up staying at school long after it had ended for the day. This could be either be because she would have to work afterhours on council-business or it could be a more sentimental reason of her not wanting to hurry on home.
In terms of relationships, Iâd prefer not to keep anything solid until I get a chance to get into the RP as most likely from there they are bound to bud and grow.
(The only one I would think would matter to her from the very beginning would be that of her mother, who would most likely translate as the âMomâ character roughly. As much as I would like for there to be a dysfunctional relationship with her mother, this relies on the Mom Lalonde rperâs wishes if it is to be consensual and fair.)
Describe your characterâs personality.
Down-to-earth, observant, easily suspicious, stoic, snarky, analytical, stern when she needs to be, at times snarky, and bit overly proud sometimes to the case of being a tad condescending.
Because of some aspects of her character, she may find it hard to relate to people in general, such as the possibility that she doesnât need to worry all that much about expenses. She would probably be somewhat aware of her fiscal situation in comparison to others and doesnât flaunt it about.
Give a short example post of your character in this AU.
The last stretch before class ended was upon the young Miss Lalonde. She didnât need to check the clock behind her head to know of that. The atmosphere of the students made the time rather apparent with some becoming more fidgety, some more among the same becoming more chatty albeit in a hushed manner, and the prime offender of scholarly degeneration already unzipping his pack and cramming his material inside in a manner so blatant she wouldnât be surprised if the teacher didnât just whirl around and give him a proper scolding. The muted busyness made demanded her body to react. A scowl was now present on her face, no doubt a sign representing her impatience with a vast majority of the students who attended the same school as she. Not a moment later, the closing bell rang loud and shrill. The other students rushed on out, mostly in rushed paces. The blond missus waited for silence to fill the room again before packing up to leave herself, but not for home. She instead would make her way to the library for a wonderful little play-date with the new selections in the fantasy sector.
(For the most part they will not be this long all the time.)
The following section is optional and in no way affects the modsâ decision to deny an application. However, it is highly encouraged.
Give a short physical description of your character.
I visualize her personally as blonde and fair skinned. For some reason or another, I imagine her being lean and tall, perhaps around 5â8 without a heel advantage.
In terms of her preferred clothing, she vastly prefers skirts over pants. She will often alternate from them being ankle-length or right above the knee. Her shorter skirts act more so as pencil skirts rather than her longer skirts which flow better in all directions. She doesnât have to really subject herself to a lot of manual labor unless it is to assist the school in some sort of special occasion such as hosting something, so her nails would be naturally rather long and untouched. They would also usually be colored accordingly.
Sometimes, she will even come to school looking like sheâs ready for an interview with an important client, whether this would have to do with her possible desired position in the Student Council or not. Other times, her comfort clothes would follow suit as being dark and concealing, perhaps with the exception of a break between her choice of wardrobe with the presence of a certain orange sweater and party dress.
