Headcanon! Jean is super excited that Mikasa is hooking up with him but is also terrified of losing the spark / that she’ll lose interest, so he keeps suggesting that they try new positions. Mikasa actually doesn’t care and is fine with good old-fashioned missionary or doggy-styled banging but still humors him (though she sometimes gets  annoyed when Jean’s latest position is too complicated).
