Rainbott didn’t give an exact age for Pinkie Pie but let’s ignore that lmao she would have adopted Cupcake Surprise at a unidentified time before he was the age of 10 (Cupcake Surprise is 18 at the time of the story and 23 after the five years) Cupcake Surprise got his cutie mark after baking his first batch of cupcakes with Pinkie Pie, taking this as killing other ponies to be his talent (it was actually just baking sweets but of course he would believe it to be that since Pinkie conditioned him to believe murder to be okay)

As stated in other posts Cupcake Surprise seems to like everyone, but becomes more and more suspicious of Apple Bloom as the story progresses. He is aware of the time scroll but doesn’t exactly know what it has to do with Apple Bloom, similar to Pinkie’s hunch but to a much less degree.

At Pinkie’s execution Cupcake Surprise doesn’t seem to be all that bothered, but after hearing her last words: “Oh, and Apple Bloom? Say hi to Applejack for me!" , he now knows his suspicions were correct and is enraged because Apple Bloom practically caused the death of his mentor. Cupcake Surprise often visits the sisters, as it is the least he could do after indicating them in the crimes to get the police off of his trail.

Whenever he sees Apple Bloom there is a uncomfortable silence between them, for obvious reasons! Does Cupcake Surprise continue Pinkie’s work? Likely not, as the security in equestria has gotten a lot better since then. But it would definitely be interesting if he did!

Wanted to show Cupcake’s relationships with the other ponies, I don’t think Apple Bloom would be a very big fan of Cupcake Surprise, as he can talk a lot, there has been multiple occasions where he’s almost told strangers about how he creates cupcakes.

Apple Bloom’s cutie mark wasn’t super clear in the official icing on the cake art, but I tried my best!

Another detail about Cupcake is that he consistently spells his name is wrong, because every time I’ve tried spelling Surprise I’ve spelled it wrong so he does it too lol

This is my ‘icing on the cake’ oc Cupcake Surprise! He had a different name prior to becoming one of Pinkie Pie’s apprentices though he changed it after getting his cutie mark, that being a cupcake with a bite taken out of it.
