Se we all agree that one of them wrote the books that Ethan has and wrote them to give hints about the story and the future they were going to experience

Yep. I think the stories come from a past Tabitha or Jade who remembered things before ending up in town, similar to how Miranda made the paintings. And one of them, probably Civil War Jade, was one of Bakta's ancestors who taught her family the song.

yesss, I feel like the books were written by a past Jade and/or Tabitha. I had this theory so long ago, that I forgot all the evidence I had in my head for it 😭

Things of note at the top of my head are:

• The way Julie explained it to Randall was interesting. About how maybe the author saw that place (visions?) and didn’t know it, similar to Miranda

• Jade: “why would a little girl draw civil war soldiers?”

Tabitha: “No, these were from the stories, her mother used to tell.”

• Victor: “someone told them a story, the story gave them hope. and the children’s hope poured into the roots that make the tree.” ….paraphrasing 😭
