Basically, everything he is not.
Whenever I tell my family that I think I’ll be single for the rest of my life, they always say that I’m bluffing and that I’ll eventually find someone, I reply with “My ideal man either, does not exist or wouldn’t even like me back” and they say “just lower your standards” ??? Yeah no. I would never.
These are the things I look for in a guy: Physical Appearance
1. Hygiene - I think anyone can agree to this.
2. Take care of their body- yes I do like men who has a build, a lil muscle here and there lmao.
3. Someone tall (or at least someone taller than me) - I mean there’s nothing wrong with girls being taller, this is just a personal preference but I like hugging someone taller than me idk it feels warmer and I feel like there’s a sense of reassurance and safety whenever I’m with someone taller lol
4. Guys with fluffy hair- I find guys cute when they have bouncy and fluffy hair, I also like playing and running my hands in it lol. ( this isn’t really a serious one lol but plus points if they do have one )
5. idk if this is considered physical but i like men who smells GOOOOD AND HEAVENLY like just by hugging them their scent sticks to you type. That musky vanilla-y scent omg
6. Someone who has a nice smile :)
Personality
1. GENTLEMAN- i mean self explanatory, who would want to be with a jack ass?? not me.
2. Someone funny/witty and has a good sense of humor but doesn’t go over board with his jokes
3. Someone who I can talk to whatever with and never gets tired of listening to me speak.
4. Someone who has a goal, ambitious, driven, hardworking and actually does things to make his dreams and goals come true.
5. Someone who grounds me- I daydream ALOT to the point where I just don’t want to deal with reality anymore. I need someone that will put me in my place and remind me of the things that really matters.
6. Someone smart but doesn’t make you feel dumb when I don’t know something.
7. Kind, Caring, loving, gentle, warm, understanding someone that I can always lean on to whenever I’m down.
8. someone who is good with kids, old people, and people in general lol.
9. Can cook? lol
10. Someone who brightens the room just by being there alone.
11. Someone independent and can stand alone.
12. Financially independent and someone that can save and is good with his money lol.
13. Someone sho isn’t shy, a strong personality ( but in a good way )
14. competitive but in a healthy way
15. Someone strategic and has a good sense of direction
16. Mature and Rational when it comes to making decisions (short term or long term) but also empathetic.
17. someone who feels for me and can understand my personality and mood swings and does not invalidate my feelings.
18. Someone thoughtful.
19. Someone patient.
20. Someone who isn’t insecure.

2. Someone who can play the piano or guitar or someone who can sing. (not really important but + brownie points)
Will I ever find someone who can tic off everything listed above? Nope, I’m most certain that I will never find a man like this, or end up with someone like this. I hope I do, but realistically speaking it’s so hard to find someone like this. But no matter how hard it is, I’d rather be alone than end up with someone who isn’t half as close to what my ideal man is. It’s all or nothing. Why lower my standards just to be with someone? I just don’t get it.
