Why were you so depressed last year?

Lol, forgive me for thinking this question is a little silly. 

Anyway, I’ve had depression since high school and besides some occasional family reasons, there was never really any other cause for it. It just comes and goes in waves. Last year was different though. The meds I take to regulate/replace my thyroid (lack thereof, actually) stopped working so I was really tired all the time, gained a lot of weight and had countless other body issues, became extremely depressed... etc. 

Long story short, hypothyroidism sucks.

This month, last year, I was fighting through some of the darkest days I have ever experienced since being diagnosed with depression. I never thought I would be able to get back to where I am today.

I am so proud of how far I’ve come.
