Day 7: Pets/Free Space
I would have liked to use a free space, but it turns out that Katie does indeed have a pet. She adopted Catvendish.
I had fun doing this challenge, and I consider it complete even though I didn’t submit anything for the Halloween one. :D
MML OC Week Day 7: Pets/Free Day
Given that Diogee is either a very old boy or living in the big farm in the sky by the time Chance is 12, I decided to go with a free day for this one! To draw Chance in my art style! <3
As a side note, Chance does have his own EHML service dog, a golden retriever/corgi mix named Gioeldee.
MML OC Week Day 6: Hero/Villain
Since Chance, by merit of being a Murphy and Dakota’s kid, is naturally a pretty nice kid… for this I had an AU idea: being kidnapped as a toddler and raised by Disastra as her heir of chaos. Chance isn’t particularly nasty, though, even despite Disastra’s upbringing. He’s more of a mischievous villain than anything else. But that doesn’t mean he isn’t capable of doing some major damage when he wants to.

I decided to go with free day for the last prompt bc i wanted to touch on how zeppelin is regarding romantic relationships. Despite his rather intimidating demeanor he’s actually rather idealistic with the concept of love. He believes it is a profound and meaningful thing shared between individuals. However this, in combination with his tendency to scare others off means he is rather inexperienced and unsure of himself.
when he becomes attached to his client turned friend Artemis La Lune (character belonging to @dakavendishes please go look at all his prompts for Artemis) he chalks it up to “this must be what being friends with someone is like, surely one thinks their friends are cute enough to kiss” however those kinds of thoughts become more and more difficult to shrug off and ignore
Milo Murphy’s Law OC Week - Day 7
Pets/Free Day: Does your oc have pets, or some kind of affinity with animals? Or, alternatively, a final day up to you!
Artemis isn’t quite the type to have pets, and his Day 5 prompt features him as a creature comprised of a few animals I loosely associate him with, so for our free day, let’s look at his relationship with another OC, Zeppelin Castillo (who belongs to @doltishsnackhound and has been included in this prompt with his permission, go check out the prompts he’s done too!).
As a time criminal, Artemis can’t go to a “proper” technician in the future to get his telekinesis technology or time vehicle repaired if either end up damaged. Instead, he comes to Zeppelin, initially finding his attitude off-putting, but respecting his repair skills. Zeppelin meanwhile is amused by this uppity alleged prince and how quite unlike his usual clientele he is.
Over time the two develop a legitimate attachment to each other, with Artemis growing to consider him a trustworthy confidant, and Zeppelin gaining a fondness for Artemis that he does not show other customers. One could say they end up growing quite close.
Day 6: Allegiance-Switch
Since Katie is on the side of good, she gets hit with the Turn Everything Evil-Inator, and I think I put more effort into this one to get the feel of what it’s like. Picture Lord Business from the Lego Movie but is less in control of himself and charismatic. Since Katie makes a conscious effort to be virtuous normally, the reverse of that would be one hard core villain. She’d try to take over the other villains and then the city and enact her own regime. Anything that goes wrong will be rectified.
MML OC Week Day 5: Creature Feature
So, for this… vampire Chance! How did he become a vampire?
Well, he suffered a fatal accident due to Murphy’s Law, but thanks to the Drakos’ timely intervention, he was saved… at the cost of becoming a vampire. This will take some adjusting, but he’ll probably be able to adapt!
Hero/Villain: If your oc is a hero, how would they take a hit from the Turn Everything Evil-Inator? Or, if your oc is a villain, what would it be like if they turned over a new leaf and defected to good?
since zeppelin is a very neutral character i thought it’d be fun to push him further into either alignment. a villain zeppelin would have no morals and would actively time travel to destroy systems of government and plunge that time period into anarchy. a hero zeppelin however would follow his generally repressed desire to help others and get a job as a paramedic.

Artemis is in an interesting position, having a quite serious goal in mind as a time criminal, though also being very much a product of his environment, twisted and embittered into the man he is today through conditioning and his own stubbornness. If he were to ever give up the game for good, his view of the world as he knows it would have to be permanently shattered.
While it would ultimately be good for him as the life of a time criminal is an often miserable and taxing endeavor, such a significantly jarring event could have countless other consequences for Artemis. It would likely take a long time for him to recover and rediscover some kind of purpose for himself.
And though he is certainly capable of learning, it would not come without great difficulty and distress to him. If Artemis is to ever let go of the past and start focusing on the future, he would need the patience and support of friends to help him become a better man.
Day 4: In an AU
My mind was going completely blank for AUs, and the only one I remembered that I could do was the Age-Swap AU, where the adults are tweens and tweens are adults. So, here’s a nerd.
MML OC Week Day 3: Routine
Being a 12-year old, Chance attends Jefferson County Middle School on weekdays during the school year. (September-June) In the mornings, he typically eats 2 servings of breakfast, before getting dressed and ready for school. The time it takes for him to get to school varies, and sometimes, if Murphy’s Law is particularly vicious, he might not get to school at all.
During the weekends, he is either catching up on homework, hanging out with his friends David and Jaimie, or spending time with his family. Sometimes he tags along with Cavendish and Dakota in their time travel missions, but as a hobby, he likes to play video games. (Well, when Murphy’s Law allows it.)
Sorry this is late, I’m gonna catch up on the days I’ve missed tonight!
MML OC Week Day 4: AU
Star Trek AU! Cadet Chance Murphy, a Human-Trill hybrid and temporal anomaly reporter! I don’t have much to elaborate on with this AU except for the fact that I just love drawing trill spots!
I’ll probably save the next mml oc week entry for tomorrow, cause I want to do a little more with it than just a simple doodle.

I didn’t go the halloween-y angle but here’s zeppelin as a dragon bc i felt it was fitting to his demeanor. he’d more or less be pretty similar to how he normally is tho he’d be a bit more carefree. in proper dragon form he’s about 8 ft tall i put a 6 foot figure there for reference. to avoid drawing attention to himself, he can assume a human-esque form but if you stare too long you’ll notice something off about him.

For this prompt I knew I wanted to make Artemis a monster, but I wasn’t sure which! I considered a werewolf, a zombie, a mantis man (this one almost won out), and countless other critters, but I decided why not go all out and make him a chimera! More specifically, a chimera with the head and talons of a barn owl, the antennae, wings, and fluff of a luna moth, and the legs, horn, and tail of a unicorn.
This version of Artemis would be able to fly, rotate his head 270 degrees, have an accelerated healing factor, night vision, innate resistance to poisons, venoms, and toxins in general, and a superb sense of smell due to the antennae on his head (yep, he’d smell with those!), which sounds like a lot, but I imagine being a hybrid creature like this would come with its own difficulties and disadvantages, such as comparatively decreased agility in certain regards.
Who knows how he may have ended up in such a state! Perhaps he had an unfortunate accident while trying to fend off a time agent, I’m sure he’d have a “fun” time dealing with it. Or perhaps this is an Artemis from an AU where he was always like that! A royal family made up of a bunch of chimeras could make for a lot of enjoyable, if kinda tricky designs.

anyways ! here’s days 1 & 2: intro and relationships !
evelyn “evie” magorian, known also as miss magenta is a time criminal ranking (just barely) as class 1. even in her mid 50s, evelyn is extremely childish and flighty, treating the majority of her criminal career as a big game, and views her crimes themselves more like pranks, meaning she chooses her targets at random. the reason she’s even in such a high class is because of the damage she usually winds up doing, not even always intentionally, and the way she keeps bouncing back even when thwarted. despite being a criminal, she’s a very upbeat, friendly person with a flair for theatrics. she loves game shows, heart shapes and motifs, loud clothing, and, naturally, winning. she isn’t fond of buzzkills or people she deems boring, vegetables, and she hates being accused of cheating (even if it’s accurate).
the two closest people in her life are her twin daughters, rosemary and glinda, who though were originally clones meant to take over their mother’s criminal empire, instead make their livings as a dancer and racer, respectively (which their mother supports, maybe a little too enthusiastically for one of them). she is also a common enemy of agents brick and savannah, who are less thrilled with their rivalry than she is; in fact, she often refuses to “play fair” with any agents other than them.
Au: Your oc in a preexisting au, or one you just made up!
Here’s an AU in which zeppelin was born into a royal family. A prince zeppelin would be incredibly dissatisfied with his life, tho he’d seem much more friendly and cheery compared to his canonical self. The lack of control in his own life and the looming responsibility of having to rule over others, an idea that for some reason repulses him greatly, would depress him and cause him to fantasize about a life of adventure.
