Mark my words, in season two, during the Boxing Day fight, Shane will make the weed comment, and people are going to be upset that it was left in since ‘it’s just not Shane’ and ‘Shane would never do that’.

In fact, I’m going to double down, I think there will be people arguing about it being in the show but not in the book since these people seem to forget very basic things that happen in the book.

Actually, I’m going to triple down, they’ll talk themselves in a circle and come back saying that Ilya actually needed to hear that and that Shane was right and Ilya deserved it
