Golden Easter Bread

Spring has arrived and with it also Easter time. For this special days we decided to make a golden bread with carrots juice and turmeric powder. An explosion of yellow! This time the flour mix is made of 150 gr zero flour, 200 gr whole wheat flour (Bongiovanni mill) and 150 gr spelt flour (Bongiovanni mill).

Because we love scraps ... we kept the carrots centrifuge scraps and we used them to prepare delicious balls with some egg whites, Parmesan, marjoram, salt and pepper and cornmeal. In the oven for 10 mins. So good with a fresh salad and a yogurt dip. We wish you’ll try this recipe and enjoy it!

Fanciest bread ever

For an happy Sunday it couldn’t be missed a pink bread! Cut some beetroots and centrifuge them. Add this intense juice to flour mix and you will be surprised by a bright dough that looks like a bubblegum. Beetroot provides a wide range of possible health benefits, such as reducing blood pressure, improving digestion, and lowering the risk of diabetes, a part from this we use it because we love its color and above all its earthy taste.

150 gr spelt flour / Bongiovanni Mill

200 gr whole wheat flour

150 gr rye flour / Bongiovanni Mill

150 gr water + 150 gr beetroot Juice

150 gr starter

Please please please don’t waste beetroots scraps! Use them to prepare a delicious risotto. Add the scraps to the rice while cooking it with some vegetal broth and finish it with some extra virgin olive oil, Parmesan and a sprinkle of fresh dill. Have a nice pink, punk Sunday!
