I just finished catching up with every (currently extant) Mobsterswitch blog since the 2013 hard reboot for Scofflaw and Scout, and I wanted to say thank you to all of you for keeping this up for so long and making your rp logs available for people to read. Between the consistent, engaging characters, the humour, and the gripping, emotional plots, you've all written one of my favorite stories. I was really happy to find that, two years after I last checked, this was still active. Thank you!

Can you guys post a link to the original mobsterswitch fan adventure? I know it's out there, but I can't seem to find it.

We aren’t actually affiliated with the mobsterswitch fan adventure, especially since several of the blogs in the ring actually pre-date the fan adventure by a couple of years! Mobsterswitch has a long and convoluted history going back to around mid-2011. I could probably make a post about that if people ask for it.

For your reference though here’s the fan adventure.

Case no. 271

client: Prudent Balhoste

Inquiry: Missing partner : Dreamy Salesman

- January 15th -

According to the information we gathered, client Balhoste hadn’t seen her kismesis in a few days. The Police hadn’t brought any satisfactory elements to his disappearance, hence she came to ask us for help. She described his behavior as odd, but mentioned he was always dealing with late “businesses”, as she’d put it. They had met before the exile, both on the prospitian side, and described his disappearance as unexpected. 

More information from the police provided significant insight on the case. The missing person, Dreamy Salesman, had been dealing with the underground side of the city as his “sale market”, whether his partner was aware if not. Or maybe she assumed we would find out regardless of what she told us. Nonetheless, there was no wonder Salesman was unlikely to be found by the authorities. Not when he could just as easily be at the bottom of the River. And without a precise clue of him being there, they didn’t had the current resources to spent time searching in the murky water.

After a visit at his apartment, we managed to find a few names we could contact. Perhaps we’ll get a lead from there. And what was it that our man was dealing with, specifically.

Hey guys, i just wanted to let you all know that whatever problem you guys have or whatever plot/headcanon/or anything that might affect our ring. involves worldbuilding at major scale or it’s too risky in any way (triggering or might make people uncomfortable) you can talk to the mod first if you want, we only want to make things easier for everyone. We don’t make rules to limit anyone but we do it to keep order and avoid future problems.

This ring is still young and we have a lot to learn, we have been creating rules as events happens because we can’t read minds or see the future. Please understand.
