Hey everyone, long time no see, huh? Well, a lot has happened in the last few months. Many cool things and some not so cool things. I'm working in the animation industry as a character animator, so far it's been a good experience and I want to dedicate these last few months, in this professional journey, to my beloved kitten who unfortunately left us for another plane of existence.

I made this animation alongside my work, when I had some free time and was able to apply a lot of feedback from professionals I worked with in the industry. I'm happy to share the whole journey and process from the thumbnail, rough and tie-down stage.

Kaliel is a nephilim, the cross between an angel and a mortal being. Despite having many years of experience ingrained in his being, his soul will always be young and always willing to learn and appreciate the small moments of life. One of the things he loves to do most is visit the humble restaurant located on one of the peaks of the Elidrian mountains in Winds of Gold. For Kaliel, this place holds many memories of his childhood, in addition to being one of the few places where nephilim could seek refuge.

Dalgon is Aligarteu, the Ourino's, best friend. Dalgon greatly admires Aligarteu for following what he believes is right for him, and in return, he intends to give him the greatest support a friend can give.

Dalgon is a young Kairyn who is always willing to face any adventure, after all, there is nothing he hates more than doing nothing. This creature's super disposition is admirable, even if sometimes it gets him injured a lot, however, the clever Dalgon always finds a way to get out of any situation, all to make his friends feel happy.

Soul Layers tells a dark fantasy story. We follow two creatures from different worlds having to face the most diverse misadventures created by the feared dark spirits created by the Seraphin of darkness. Aligarteu and Ada will have to know how to deal with their differences and work together to understand the ancient language created by Agnalis, the lord of the spirits.

Hello everyone, author here, I want to use this space to talk about the project and this animation, specifically. Well, the idea was for me to paint this work and the scenery, but it didn't work out very well and I ended up a little frustrated, but it's okay! Honestly, it came out much better this way! I'm very happy with the result of the animation and how Dalgon turned out. I love sharing my process, because I think many people don't know the work behind an animation and I think the whole journey I've been through is very beautiful. I've learned a lot and evolved a lot with this, but the journey isn't over yet, there's a lot of Soul Layer to come. Hey guys! I'm so happy to be sharing one of the first animations from this very special project of mine called Soul Layers!

Soul layers is about valuing an energy so intensely in each creature, an energy that makes each one of us unique, an energy responsible for guiding us in our lives and bringing solitude and richness to our journey. This energy is our soul, our inner spirit that brings memories of lives we once lived and these experiences shape who we are, shape our being.

Sleash is a curious and fearless spirit and he was chosen to test my skills in this art of animation.
