9:22pm — bad boy!jeno is shocked when he swings open the door, revealing you in a teddy bear onesie with your plastic orange pumpkin basket extended out towards him. you’re equally surprised to see him without the usual leather jacket, ripped black jeans, and carefully styled hair. instead, he’s in a baggy white tee and black sweatpants, a pair of unfamiliar glasses perched upon his nose and his messy fringe reaching just below the eyebrows. seconds pass and he still stands there with his plush pink lips forming a little ‘o’, one hand resting on the door handle while the other clutches onto a half-empty bag of assorted sweets.
“um… trick or treat?”
he jolts and pushes up his glasses, immediately shoving handful after handful into your basket, surprise still splayed across his face.
“oh—uh, thank you for all the candy,”
he looks to the bag, to your basket, to the bag once again. he had somehow managed to give you all of the remaining candies.
you give him a questioning smile and make your way down the walkway to the next house, eager for more bounty. before you exit his line of sight, though, you hear your voice being called.
“y/n,” you look back and even in the dim porchlight, you make out that famous smirk of his. “you look cute.”
(unknown to you, his face burned a searing red. thank goodness for the dark of the night.)
