i know there are a billion posts out there like this but i am calling all ts2 and/or ts3 blogs bc i need to follow more of you guys and i KNOW there are veterans/newbies out there i haven’t discovered/rediscovered yet, so can yall reblog this?
The sims 2 here!! I need to post more often though.
This is my brand new main neighborhood Evermore (island themed) and the school I've been working on! Neighborhood pic is with reshade turned on- school pics are with it turned off. I'll take better pictures of the school once its done!
Quick guide on how to install sims2packs on Linux Mint through Lutris (mainly bc I couldn't find this online). First install the Sims2Pack Clean Installer in Lutris; to do this press the + button and follow the prompts. Once you have Clean Installer installed, to install a sim you click the little arrow button and choose 'Run EXE Inside Wine Prefix' (see photo #1). Navigate to where you put the sim2pack you want to install, select it and hit Ok (see photo #2). At this point the Clean Installer will launch and look just like the windows version does when installing sims!
This took me far too long to figure out. Hope this helps someone else out who is running the sims 2 in Linux!
Because the neighborhood is so old and I haven't played it in years, I hate all the old interiors. This is part of the renovated first floor of the Falls' house. I didn't get to any of the bedrooms 'cause I don't care about them that much. This house was way too colorful before. I kept the colors, but it's a bit easier on the eye now, I think. And less crusty.
So pretty!! Saving this for interior inspiration!

The Sims 2 on Linux
Since windows 10 support is ending I switched to Linux in January of this year. After a lot of trial and error (including jumping distros) I finally got The Sims 2 to run last night on Mint! Just CC shopping right now since its been a while since I had the chance to redo my downloads folder!!
