Mocking-Slate

This is a blog I specifically made for Birdmen content. Both content from me and other people who enjoy the manga and want more people to know about it.   Birdmen OC: Aaron Dartigue   Age: 20   Alias: Mockingbird    Color: Slate Backstory: A young man escapes Eden and creates a new life for himself in the rural Everglades of South Florida. He usually keeps to himself. Because he doesn't take blackout suppressants he keeps away from the populous and fights his blackouts alone. But he doesn't mind helping out a fellow Birdmen. First Ability: Mocker - He is able to copy the voices and abilities of others.

Alright, I've FINALLY finished Birdman!

I'll admit, I never saw that peaceful ending coming. It's a pleasant surprise haha.

Seeing all the main characters reconcile and return to their families was heart warming. But seeing Sou return to his grandfather was by far the most impactfull. All throughout the story I got the sense that Takayama was going to become a saint of some kind, like a sacrifice to something. Especially in an earlier chapter where Katasuma felt like he had to save him in the white dream. It had me anxious the whole time they were searching for the 7.

Seeing him smile brightly at Eishi felt so satisfying.

Agh, there is just so much to discuss but I don't know how to articulate all of it!

I loved this story. Yellow made something truly special.

It took me many years to read it. (Started reading while I was 15 or 16, now I'm 23! Almost as old as Eva lol) So happy to reach the end. Can't wait for Yellow's next work!
