30 DAY SHEPARD CHALLENGE: Day 2 - Appearance
A basic description. Are they attractive? No? Is there anything in their appearance that Shepard is extremely proud of? Self-conscious? Any notable scars? How did they obtain them? Does it change at all through the Lazarus Project, or over the course of the story? ---- Control!verse: Due to her partial Reaperfication in terms of gaining completely glowing blue eyes with thick black rims and slightly discolored skin, the reclaimed corpse of the new Reaper conscience isn't very attractive at all. However, Dill's hardly concerned with her looks, focusing much more on reconstructing the universe previously destroyed by the Reapers. Under her clothes there is significant scarring, having the upper torso of a husk with her beating heart being clearly visible between the ribs, as well as blue nodes all over her body with obvious scars around them. Freedom!verse: In Mass Effect, Dylan Marie Shepard was quite a catch, despite her harsh grey eyes and stern expression. While her platinum blonde hair stayed nearly the same length throughout the games, by the time the Lazarus Project got a hold on her and prematurely awoke her, the facial scarring had already begun and remained the worse it could possibly be until the end of the third game. These scars made her significantly less attractive to many, but she's not particularly self-conscious about it. An aspect of her appearance that she's significantly proud of is her mockingbird tattoo on her thigh, though she rarely gets a chance to show it off. She has general battle scars, but her bullet graze scars are particularly notorious and numerous.
