The story I expected to love but ended up not liking.

I was stuck in a constant search for a bigger meaning which I felt was almost proposed by the style of writing. Sadly, I did not find it. What I found were young lost people, struglling to find their way in life and using big words. For a while I hoped to feel in union with them. Nevertheless, I ended up being irritated by them.

Apart from that it was a great insight into post-war America.

Blinding Light. The floor-to-ceiling windows of this upper-floor room are framed in wood almost like a grid, with shelves incorporated. The orange-and-green striped blinds on the sloping roof can be opened and closed easily.
