Since this weeks theme for #aprilisforarabfood is sweets, I wanted to share a #throwback picture of my #qatayef. . . قطايف عبارة عن فطيرة مكونة من عجينة سائلة، يتم اكلها محشيةّ بالجوز أو الجبنة، تتحمر أو تنقلى وا تغطس فالقطر ويمكن تناولها نية بحشوة القشطة. هي من أشهر الحلويات العربية في رمضان، تعتبر من عادات الشهر الفضيل، يتم اكلهاا بعد الإفطار و في ناس بتحب تأكلها وقت السحور. . . Qatayef is a special dessert, commonly served during Ramadan. Sometimes called "Arabic pancakes", Qatayef is filled with sweet cheese or nuts and then fried or baked and then dipped in a simple syrup called Qater. How do you like your Qatayef?
