I have been very busy this spring semester with classes, but I actually completed all of my paintings. Made in gold leaf, the human back is now in my teacher’s office to have pictures taken. I have never been so proud in my whole art life. Now I wait till Thursday to retrieve my painting. Thank you all for your support!

Hello everyone, Ashley here!

I have noticed that I have not been posting any art recently for possibly a month on my blog. I have been going through with family troubles, classwork, being sick for almost two weeks, and graduation paperwork. Since my painting midterms passed, I would like to share my finished pieces. For my oil painting class, everyone has to do two paintings of a reflected object or creature. This is the black and white version of a glasswing butterfly, and I’m almost close to complete.

Hello everyone, this is Ashley. I have never thought that this year would bring utter joy in my life. Since I passed my classes last year, I will be able to graduate this year in May. Also, I received notice that I am granted admission to the school I actually wanted to attend (but have to wait for other notices if I wish).
