You think Tai views herself as unlovable or useless since all her teammates keep betraying her for whatever reason, and like Mugm didn’t even HAVE a reason to do so, he just wanted to.

Like even Rejoice, someone who Tai learnt to like and trust enough to give her mace to after the trial used the moment to kill her. Like yeah Rejoice’s goal since the start was to kill her but during the time they worked together it genuinely felt like there was something between them, something deeper than their petty rivalry.

Imagine Tai becoming more and more dissociative to everyone because she thinks they’re all gonna leave her in the end anyways, there’s no point trying to make any meaningful bonds if she’ll just get used.
