This is NOT a gender, sexuality, orientation or pronoun set.
Definition: Agequirked is an identity designed for those who have a complex relationship with their age due to nerodivergence. Someone who is Agequirked may feel younger, older than their age. They may also feel fluid, mutliple ages at once, ageless, or partially ageless. They may even feel as if their age cannot be described with numbers at all.
!THIS IS NOT A RADQUEER/TRANSID TERM!
I'm fully aware radqueers are going to try and steal this term but have it be known as the original coiner of Agequirked I DO NOT CONDONE USAGE OF THIS TERM BY RADQUEERS AND TRANSIDS.
What this identity is NOT:
A way to avoid chronological age-specific responsibilities
A way to avoid backlash and criticism
A way for trauma victims to cope/heal
A way for neurodivergent individuals to explain their complex relationship with age
An easier to understand version of the term Chronosian
Agequirked follows a similar principle as Chronosian.
This identity has nothing to do with the radqueer/transage/transid community.
This identity is NOT a kink.
Why would someone use Agequirked:
Ageregression could fall under Agequirked
Alter age could fall under Agequirked
One may feel older/younger due to trauma
One may feel an odd connection to what age is due to neurodivergence
One may feel older/younger because of kin/past life/delusions/etc.
Regardless of WHY someone identifies with Agequirked, you MUST put your body's chronological age at the utmost importance!
Many people have found that the term Chronosian could be confusing to understand. Transage - while a more straight forward term - is used by a vile community of child abusers.
The purpose of Agequirked is to provide a more straightforward and simplistic term to ND folk who have complex relationships with their age while steering clear of radqueer and groomer spaces.
The black represents Neurodivergence. The Pink represents feeling younger. The purple represents fluid and having multiple ages. The blue represents age regression and system ages. The green represents not having an age or only partial connection to an age. The yellow represents disconnect from number ages. The orange represents feeling older.
THIS IS NOT A RADQUEER/TRANSID IDENTITY. This is meant to serve as an alternative to the term Chronosian.
