Four years ago I began work on a full-length Molested Development release. It was intended for people to listen to in a dark room with the volume all the way up. There was 11 tracks written and out of those 9 were recorded. The problem is that every time I have a listen to the finished product, there's something that I have to change about it. This has been happening since about late 2011, where from there on I managed to digitally release one demo, three EP's and a mixtape (containing remixes of other artists tracks).
None of those releases sound anything like this one. It's something that I consider to be fairly special and has certainly taken the most effort, even if it has been on and off. Honestly, I think once this is finished, pressed and released, I'll be done with what I intended to do with Molested Development and most likely call it quits.
I guess my point is that I know I've been promising this album for a while now and before the year was up in 2012 I even set a date (which I've recently deleted all evidence of), but it still won't be coming out for quite some time. Not until I think it's perfect, as I imagined all those years back. I hope it's worth the wait. - Sol Phiedbacher
