How I sum up this week in history

This is how I sum up the week.  They broke the law and were asked to explain. They REFUSED and life changing thing happen.  All they had to do was take the time and explain, someone would of listened. Open you mind, ears, and eyes. Think, Listen and Observe.

Bella and the Baby

When Bella was rescued by us three years ago, she was welcomed into an adult home. My children are all in their twenties. My great nieces and nephew are the only children that we have in the family when she came and with the nephew being the same age as Bella, he was three when she was three and walking and talking.

But this week my nephew stopped by with his four month old daughter. I was really enjoying the visit when Bella came into the room. Was she ever curious. I was worried that she would want my attention and usually when she does want it, her big old paw will come up and slap down on your arm. She has left some pretty good bruises!

But she was the perfect little lady. She did alot of sniffing and even when the baby was fussing a little and I was adjusting my hold on her, Bella was of course right there to supervise but still just seemed to be content with sniffing the baby.

When I went to leave is when I noticed how much she was inamoured by Sophie. I could not get her out of the house. She was wanting to stay and kept doing the run around the living room wall. I had to take her by the collar and lead her out. We then were walking across the yard and I could only take two or three steps at a time. Bella would then step in front of me and try to get me to turn around and head back to GMa's house where Sophie was. 

I loved being able to share this experience with her.

The Continuing Adventures of Bella, The St. Bernard

We started the summer off at the Memorial parade, Daddy was the escort to the parade. Daddy works at the Sheriff department and some times gets to lead the parade. Bella only gets to watch.

Our first summer swim. Bella didn't go in too far. Her brothers were not there to egg her on but she got wet enough to cool off on this beautiful June day.

Then nothing beats a ride home with all the windows open!

We then took the summer month of August and just shedded. Mommy loves this month! Not! I am vacuuming two or three times a day and brushing Bella weekly. The hair is every wheres! Daddy hates when Bella tries to say good morning during shedding season. Daddy uniform is black and Bella's white hair shows on it alot!

Here I am in September, Look all shiny and gorgeous!

But today's big adventure was that Bella got to go to Mommy's Office to work on a deadline that needed to be done. So Saturday Morning we got Dunkin (Egg and Bacon Wrap for Bella) and off the to office we went. She was good for three hours and then wanted to start roaming, so Mommy called it a day and home we came.

Bella loves to be brushed! She is very good about letting me roll her over to get to the other side and even do her tail. She is in full shed right now, as you can see by how much was left behind on the lawn.

I call this series of pictures ' Stepping Out'.

Hubby and I had spooked her from her field and appariently from where she wanted to escape to. 

She stepped up and took only a moment to check us out and the just crossed the field divide, coming straight at us. One quick shift to the right and in the woods, she was gone.
