weird question for dog people, do you know if it would be theoretically possible to force a dogs ears to stand up later in life, possibly due to a medical procedure? i know you can crop them and stand them up with tape when theyre babies but thats before the ears finish growing. im wondering for anthro reasons

trying to figure out compositions and character designs...

the cat is called blake and the wolf is eve. blake is a chess prodigy and yet somehow the dumbest person in the entire story (or at least, she acts that way). eve is a very nervous girl who tries her best to be kind but is very high strung. wants to do what is right at all times while blake wants to do whatever her whims decide on that day

and trying very hard to figure out the composition of this piece. the piece feels very empty and unbalanced as is, so i want to raise ashs feet up more, but then the wall would cover the two girls. a way to fix this would be to change the angle to be aimed down much more, but thats a difficult angle to work with so im not sure it would be worth it.

more sketches of me trying to figure it out. if i make the wall end right at ashs feet then the two girls can exist in either the lower left or upper right corner of the piece. something didnt look right about this: it might have just been me not drawing it properly though.

my favourite option so far is this one, but i dont like how the speech bubble overlaps the wall. it makes good use of empty space, but i think i like that empty space being there. i want the space the girls are in to feel vast compared to ashs feet looking large and taking up a lot of the page in comparison due to the perspective. another issue i have here is that i didnt include a horizon or anything- i did this because the angle is supposed to be so high you wouldnt be able to see it, but now im rethinking that.

so something like this maybe??? idk, im not good at perspective yet... im okay with characters in 3d space but not yet at drawing environments and landscapes. especially at weird angles. i think i might go for something similar to the largest image, except ill move eve and blake down a little so that blakes speech bubble can go above her and eve instead of below them (shes shouting Up at him which i think is why it feels weird to have it below her)
