This isn't anime related, but a coworker asked me to sketch them a grim reaper. I decided to go for a "cute" look as opposed to evil and menacing. But now this makes me want to draw Reaper from Overwatch.

It has been awhile since I posted , but having three kids that play soccer keeps me from having much drawing time I drew this awhile ago and it's from a fanfiction by @sonofallmight
A rewrite of Ultra Academy (Which honestly was a sucky fanfiction with random stuff put in it) Izuku Midoriya was gifte...
Fanfic writers are amazing. What you guys do with words? The thing you do where you put a lot of letters together to make one hell of a reading experience *chefs kiss*. It's magical! Writers deserve more praise and interaction.
My older daughter requested this sketch of Medusa and Dr Stein from Soul Eater and I finished it just in time for her birthday âș
And because I like both pre-cannon and current age Toshi and Inko.....
I just realized I am behind in posting this Aladdin Toshi, Inko and guest appearance by Present Mic @princeasimdiya12
A little late posting, but I drew this last month while brainstorming Inko observing Toshinori sparring Nana Shimura
Google's unionizing
Google workers have announced their intention to form a union, under the auspices of CWA Local 1440. The union is called The Alphabet Workers Union (Google maintains the legal and accounting fiction that it is a division of a holding company called âAlphabetâ).
Speaking of legal fictions, the union is opening membership to âTVCsâ - temps, vendors and contractors - employees who have deliberately misclassified so as to avoid paying them benefits or extending normal workplace protections to them.
Itâs a bold move, a countermeasure to thwart the other commercial advantage from worker misclassification: by creating multiple categories of workers, bosses can pit employees against one another, by dangling privileges in front of one group but not the other.
But it comes at a high price: to gain official legal recognition, more than 50% of eligible workers must join the union. By including more workers, the union is setting a higher bar for official status.
https://www.vice.com/en/article/3an5q9/google-workers-publicly-launch-union
But the union has momentum: a series of high-profile googler uprisings - driven by official tolerance for sexual misconduct, complicity in US military drone programs, secret collaboration with Chinese surveillance and censorship, and more - show how radicalized googlers are.
Googleâs management - who cultivated an air of participatory, cuddly collaboration - have arrived at a point where the contradictions between their âvaluesâ and the companyâs profits can no longer be reconciled.
In Dec 2020, Google fired Timnit Gebru, an eminent Black AI scientist who refused to retract a paper critical of its profitable Big Data research. Management compounded their sins by making false claims about Gebruâs dismissal.
The unionization drive is under the CWAâs #CODE (Coalition to Organize Digital Employees) project. Though CODE is no stranger to conflict, Google represents a serious challenge, thanks to its partnership with notorious union-busters IRI Consultants.
(IWIâs tactics pale in comparison to the mercenaries that Amazon has hired to bust its unions: the Pinkerton company, who have spilled rivers of workersâ blood in their murderous history):
https://www.vice.com/en/article/5dp3yn/amazon-leaked-reports-expose-spying-warehouse-workers-labor-union-environmental-groups-social-movements
For important context on the drive, check out Collective Action in Techâs article on the announcement, which explains why googlers have formed a ânon-contract unionâ that does not yet have official recognition.
https://collectiveaction.tech/2021/the-abcs-of-googles-new-union/
âNon-contract unions embody the idea that worker power does not come from legal processes, but rather through building power through solidarity.â
This is huge. Not only is it great for Googleâs many workers, but the companyâs management has long been far to the right of their workers in terms of politics, and Google is a large enough private government where worker organization could serve as a lever of changing company policy, and thus public policy
âBut the union has momentum: a series of high-profile googler uprisings - driven by official tolerance for sexual misconduct, complicity in US military drone programs, secret collaboration with Chinese surveillance and censorship, and more - show how radicalized googlers are.â
okay im sorry but if someone with the fairly normal ethical position of âi donât want to be sexually harassed, complicit in the american robot war crimes division, unwittingly responsible for other countriesâ ongoing human rights violations, while also being underpaid and overworked by a company that no longer cares about anything but making as much money as possibleâ considered to be not just radicalized but significantly radicalized then the overton window has moved so far into nightmareland you can barely see reality from where itâs perched.
This is basically what happened, right?
My social media manager, aka my daughter, has been too preoccupied playing on the Nintendo switch the kids received for Christmas, so it has fallen upon me to try and post this picture from a few weeks ago....keeping my fingers crossed that it posts correctly đ

My piece for this yearâs Toshinko Secret Santa!
Inko realizes her feelings for Toshinori. And Toshinori⊠well, he realizes he probably isnât gifted at carpentry.
Maybe her heart had been broken so badly before that it hadnât healed yet, and maybe it never would, or maybe she was so scared it would break again that she refused to hear what it had to say.
An Excerpt from You and What Army - Part 20
âMom!â Izuku darted ahead of the group. âDid you see?!â
Inko let herself be swept up in a hug. âI did!â
Endeavor, meanwhile, blinked at them like a confused bull until the moment when awful realization hit him with a near physical force. âNoâŠâ She could feel him adding up Izukuâs physical features -Inkoâs coloration, Hisashiâs cheekbones plus his thin neck- and arriving at the correction conclusion.Â
âNO.â He repeated himself, pointing at her in his horror.Â
That reaction was a bit much, she thought.Â
âI should have realized.â Endeavor was still looking back and forth between Inko and Izuku, unaware of Toshinoriâs quizzical approach from behind. âNo wonder that brat caused so much trouble. He even has your same crazy face.â
Inko cocked her head in confusion. Her same what now?Â
You know how Inko and Izuku have identical expressions when All Might shows up for a parent-teacher conference?
You know how Izuku gets crazy face whenever heâs really getting into a fight?
THAT.Â
:D
A fanart for @sonofallmight . There is a black-and-white white version as well. Hope you enjoy! đ
And in color.....
My kids asked if I could draw something besides Inko and Toshinori....so one of my other favorite ships from BNHA
An excerpt from Chapter 19 of 'You and What Army?'
âHow is Mirio-kun? Is he excited?â
âPalpably.â Mirai replied, taking his seat and poking at the console to adjust their cameras. âThe support company pulled through with a custom gym uniform for him. Heâs beyond happy to not have to compete in costume or a standard uniform like last year.â
âOh, he would be, wouldnât he?â Inko hadnât connected Mirio to one of the big scandals of the previous yearâs festival. The news casters and amateur videographers had been warned to be very careful with their angles, but a certain young man had still ended up on live camera. The recordings were edited with modesty blurs, but anyone watching the live feed had been confronted with Mirio-kun; full frontal.
Poor Mirio. All of Japan has seen his unmentionables.
Toshinori kept a straight face, but she could still feel the glow of his happiness. It seemed one of his private charities, which had been more neglected in recent years, supported low income Hero students with special needs. The officers in charge of that program had been focusing on tuition grants in the absence of specific guidance from him; getting bodies into seats, making sure they had their basic supplies, and metabolically appropriate meal plans. They hadnât been doing a bad job, but they were all civilian people and so had gaps in their understanding of the needs of scholarship student heroes; something that Toshinori had been able to fill in before his accident and was happily back at.
I SHIP ALL MIGHT AND HIS TEN MILLION PET CHARITIES OK
A small excerpt from Chapter 17 of 'You and What Army.'
Toshinori found young Izuku was out with young Bakugo, but also young Uraraka, Iida, Kirishima, Kaminari, and Ashido when he found the bookstore. They were hanging out by the magazine racks and talking about some of the covers.
Hisashi was sitting across the street at a cafe, pretending to read a newspaper, and watching with a sort of sad look about him; like he wanted to go over, but didnât know how.Â
Sheesh.
He hadnât spotted Toshinori. People, not even highly trained agents, didnât often look up and Toshinori had let himself gently down onto an open balcony from the roof of the building the cafe was in.Â
Toshinori -now flexed- dropped down behind the man far less quietly, scruffed him by the back of the shirt, and tucked him under one arm like a struggling football. âLetâs have a talk!â He boomed happily.Â
âWhat?!â Hisashi kicked and Toshinori stepped out of the cafe patio so he wouldnât accidentally clip one of the other diners. Hisashi saw the direction they were heading and said, âOh, no. No, no, no!â
âThis is for your own good.â Toshinori told him, a little softer than before; closer to his own voice. âItâs getting weird, man.â
