The new GDevelop 5 updates 104 & 105 is available for use.

Highlights:

104 has new tiled map, shape painter, support for isometry in top-down movement behavior features with improvements to AdMob & Firebase, yarn editor, procedural generation etc and bug fixes.

105 has improvements to GDevelop games showcase added to tab of new project window, normalized expression, map a value between min and max, condition to check if key is released and help link for Admob actions and conditions.

GDevelop has two separate clients, Web and Local. The web client allowing for game development directly through the browser and saving to a cloud storage solution. GDevelop 5 uses GDJS, the same JavaScript engine as GDevelop 4. The game engine uses Pixi.JS v5 as a renderer. Shaders were introduced in GDevelop 5 beta 84 and allow for advanced graphical effects such as drop shadows, scanlines, color swapping, reflections, and more without having to create custom art for the effect.

Shaders can be applied to each layer of a game scene.
