Productivity & Planning

Forest - Grows a tree for every thirty minutes you are off your phone. If you touch your phone, the tree dies. ($0.99 on iOS)

FocusNow - Free version of Forest for iOS. Instead of trees, it grows fruits and vegetables. 

30/30 - Great time management app

Any.Do - Great app for creating to-do lists, organize tasks, syncs with other devices. You can also change the priorities on certain tasks. 

Studious - Great app on Android that reminds you when homework is due, when exams are and even silences your phone during class. 

StayFocused - A chrome extension that you can customize to limit the time on websites to stay productive

Self Control - Allows you to block your own access to distracting websites for a certain amount of time. Useful for people who get distracted on the computer (Also known as Cold Turkey for Windows).

Math Alarm - alarm clock that forces you to do math to turn the alarm off, get’s your brain going 

Class Lectures and Note Taking

Dragon Dictation - takes notes for lectures (useful for classes where professors talk faster than you can type)

XMind - mind mapping tool

Notability - another app for recording lectures. ($2.99 on iOS)

100 Days of Productivity: Day 2/100

I’ve decided to teach myself French, since I want to travel to Europe during college. ;) Sadly, my high school is too small for a French class, so Duolingo will have to do and I will stick to keeping on with Spanish, which is also an extremely important language. Also: Can anyone PLEASE tell me what the heck is wrong with French masculine and feminine rules? I thought it’d be a piece of cake after getting to know the Spanish ones and yet...

It was cold and rainy outside today, which made walking around my high school miserable. Our football team is going to playoffs, so naturally we had a pep rally. I’d like them, but they give me such horrible headaches.

Worked with my favorite FFA coach on my Creed today. I go to Area contest next Wednesday, so pray for me or wish me luck if you aren’t into praying! I’m so nervous. If I get in the top three, I qualify for state. I have butterflies just at the thought!

my bujo evolution since 2015 ✨

‘16-‘17’s bujo is at my family’s home right now so it is not in the pic but i think i like the ‘18 one best. because layouts are so simple yet functional. also i didn’t care much about paper type, i used lined, blank and dot grid notebook pages but i noticed that dot grid pages are the most appealing. i think i will buy a dot grid notebook for my next bujo 💕

how to use no pronouns!

inspired by blackfairypresident’s post of how to use they/them i present to you…. how to use no pronouns!!! because people keep asking me and it’s getting a bit redundant…

for people who use no pronouns we usually are referred to our names, for this example i will be using the name Kid

so instead of “they have a cool book!” you should say “Kid has a cool book!”

instead of “you are going to tell her” you should say “you are going to have to tell Kid”

instead of “what’s their address?” you should say “what’s Kid’s address?”

instead of “he’s ignoring me” you should say “Kid is ignoring me”

instead of “Don’t take that, that’s hers!” you should say “don’t take that, that’s Kid’s!”
