And now for something completely different… Here’s some variants I made on how the creature from Dan Simmons’ book “The Terror” could look like, it was a lot of fun imagining different versions and how they might work on film~

I’m trying to flex those imagination muscles, since I love film and would like to do more concept art and creature design~ Huge thanks to the great @guydavisart for ever so generously sharing his knowledge and invaluable feedback!

Here are some of my ideas for variants on how the Andalites (from the book series “Animorphs”) could look in a film or tv show, exploring different possibilities for their alien, centaur-like anatomy!

Here’s some sketches exploring one of my ideas for the creature from “The Terror” by Dan Simmons, and how I imagined it could work as a supernatural element while still able to be mistaken for a polar bear at a glance or in the distance.
