I come from a Cuban , Puerto Rican, Chinese bloodline. 1 of my grandmother’s was a Cuban queen 👑 born & raised in Cuba 🇨🇺 She married my Chinese grandfather and they owned the most famous Chinese/Cuban restaurant in Havana named Wachamba. During Castro’s violent take over of Cuba he seized everyone’s business and land, my people were left with nothing so they migrated to Miami in search of a better life to a neighborhood called Lil Havana. They bought a house right off Calle Ocho & 15 ave, my grandmother’s childhood friend & neighbor from Cuba 🇨🇺 @celiacruz & another Cubana singer named La Lupe would drink J&B whiskey then sing in the house and the whole block would come outside & listen. I say all that to say this , The dictator regime must come to an end I stand with my Cuban 🇨🇺 people ✊🏽. I hear people saying things like send them water, send them food, send them medicine, all that’s nice but fuck all that what my people want is LIBERTAD = FREEDOM! They’re marching in the streets of Cuba 🇨🇺 literally risking their lives asking/crying for FREEDOM the same freedom we take for granted everyday.
