Let’s look at this timeline as years of your life assuming you will live a long 100 years. You’re probably 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 or however old you are right now as a teenager. You’re thinking about how much you screwed up your life and you’ll never be able to get your teen or childhood years back. You want to give up because you don’t think it will get better because you think everything is over so there’s no point anymore. That’s not true at all. Look at the X. Those may be years you can’t get back but that’s okay! I promise you most people didn’t have the “high school was the best years of our lives” experience. YOU ARE NOT A FAILURE because so many people have had quite harsh years around that time. But I’ve been told time to time those aren’t even the best years, rather it’s later down the road because you don’t have to deal with the drama like you did in high school. These are the years you can start changing for the way YOU want them to be. No one has to control you anymore because once you graduate and start into your 20’s it’s your life and you can run it the way you want to. That was the problem, you couldn’t have control over your life in your teens because of everyone always telling you what to do and having impossible expectations. And this is where all the problems started.
So please don’t give up now because your life is just beginning. You had a rocky start and that’s okay, a lot of people do. Please share this picture with your followers because I can promise you right now there are young teens out there who are struggling to continue on with life, they just want to give it all up. Maybe this simple little picture can really show that your life isn’t over yet and you still have so much more you can do with your life.
