“Same way you did. With Eggs and Sperm.” She laughs. “My partner and I decided to have her. I didn’t know she was gonna be hetero as hell.” She laughs. “She loves men don’t ya nookie?” She pinched Monica’s chin playfully. “Naw I don’t wanna wake the little guy, I know I have being woken up from a nap.” She watched Monica reach for him. “Ya sure if his mommy says it’s okay I don’t care’a.” Dani smiled small at Bekka and got the point and acted like she didn’t.
“Wow. That’s epic! Congrats! I can’t believe I’m just learning this.” She shook her head at the lost time. “How old is she?” Bekka sighs small it was her anxiety not wanting to let anyone hold Ty. “Sit down. Just for a second. He’s sick he wont eat.” Bekka said and as Monica sat down Bekka gently transferred Ty into her arms. Â
Monica answered before her mother had a chance, “I’m four but my birthday is in October and then I’ll be this many,” She held up five fingers. Bekka chuckles, “I’m an October baby too.” Monica smiled at Bekka but you look way more than this many,” she said holding up her fingers once more. Bekka felt old now because she was always insecure about age. “Just a little bit older kid.”Awe, Hiya baby.” She says as Bekka placed Ty in her arms, “Shh, it’s going to  okay. You’ll feel better soon.” she smiles proud of herself holding such a little baby. “You should feed him.” Monica said looking at Bekka. “You don’t think I’ve tried that already?!” she raised her voice feeling a little defensive towards the four-year-old. Monica looked at Dani, “Mama I don’t like that tone.” She said all serious and tried to be adult like. Bekka couldn’t help but laugh small, “That is like you DD.”Â
