Having a unit close with you like that…allow me to test how strong your bonds truly are.” Monika placed a heal trigger in her drop zone. “Generation Guard: Ibiores! I’ll reduce the power of your front row units by 1000 per each Deletor unit I have on Vanguard, Rear-guard, or G-zone!” Monika took a few heavy breaths. Damn, this version of her story was definitely something she wasn’t used to, but she wasn’t going to let that hinder her one bit. “Liberating the Generation Zone! Reduce everything to ashes….Deliberate Deletor, Aodaien!” She then pointed at Yuri’s drop zone. “…put two cards from your drop zone and bind them face-down. Vanish Delete.”

It’s how you have them be strong for you. “ Yuri took a glance at her drop zone, binding a Glenzand and One-Eyes Succubus face down. “ No matter how much you may vanish delete… or even delete, you won’t get past me…! “ Ten cards in hand wasn’t bad. Maybe she could guard this turn… or hope for heal triggers. She had only seen two.

“Then I’m scared to think how Deletors feel about me, ahaha. But no matter. I like your fighting spirit, Yuri…but I’m not done yet! Unflipping a copy of Aodaien, I’ll…retire this stand trigger over here and Delete your Vanguard!” Monika watched Yuri turn her Vanguard face-down with a prideful look on her face. She was ready to move on the offensive! “That stand trigger lets me superior call at the top of my deck….and now I’ll attack you! Think you can take me when your power is at 0!?”

“ Of course. I prepare for situations like this… and for that, I’ll guard! “ She puts down three cards from her hand. “ You have been playing with your Deletors the longest time, so I’m sure they respect you..”

“Is that so?” Monika pondered. She brushed it aside as the “backstory” that the creators of this world assigned for her. “I’m sure the Dark Irregulars feel the same way. I’ll end my turn with that, since you successfully guarded me.” She looked at her hand, as her previous drive checks revealed another Greiend, a crit, and a stride fodder.

“ Oh… I hope so. I haven’t been playing for long, but this is the only deck I’ve played. And now my turn…. I stand and draw a card. I reride Scharhrot. And stride into… One Stepped in Sin, Scharhrot. Stride skill… soul charge two. And now I call Monochrome of Nightmareland. Skill…. she goes into my deck. I soul charge… counter charge- and since there are 10 or more in my soul, draw a card. I also call my final Scharhrot to my left, and One-Eyed Succubus behind him. Rear-guard Scharhrot attacks- skill, no grade 0′s are allowed to the guardian circle. “

“I refuse to allow this to occur. Generation Guard: Lacus Carina!” With that, Monika locked 3 of her back-row units, forcing Yuri to lock their entire backrow. “Damn...that’s the last G-Guard I can use though for the time being...but that makes three face-up G-Zone units...” Monika pondered. Now came the matter of guarding the rest.
