Lace butterfly bikini I recently designed. π¦
Little girls tend to gravitate towards butterflies without hesitation. Their effortless brilliance is enchanting and ethereal. But their process is what is truly inspiring. A butterfly undergoes a deeply metamorphic process - eating, getting full, cocooning and pulling inward, resting in the dark, and finally breaking out in new form. The process of girlhood (womanhood) is quite similar. Constantly going through periods of digesting learning new things, pulling inward into the liminal space, trusting what will come without truly knowing what we will find on the other side, waiting a considerable amount of time, and finally blossoming.
