Been years since I had gotten anything new of my ape escape oc Rui, but here she is in all her glory.

I’m prone to tweaking her story, but what’s consistent is that she originally was on the side of the good guys, working in the lab with Aki and the professor until she inevitably joined Specter’s side, she strikes up an odd friendship with Monkey Red who helps her build some confidence (and muscle) and has a crush on Monkey Pink.

i was so excited when i played AE3 and discovered yumi was a pop idol, i fucking love idols!! i also love that pink monkey is an idol, these characters were made to appeal to me !!

anyways i love to smash my interests together and wanted to draw them in some love live! outfits... plus a penlight wielding pipo monkey ehehe

Ape Escape 2 - Pink Monkey:

"Another boss fight and it's an icon. I adore Pink so much. I'm a big fan of characters who are adorable but with an evil twist to them. Pink is a perfect example of that. Fortunately, we will see her again in the next game. The fight itself is quite simple. Yes, the second part is challenging, but not by much."
