This was 90% Acrylic paint marker out of necessity, in order to cover all the bleedthrough from the back page. Yikes. But I like how it turned out! It was relaxing to work in mostly solid blocks of colour and not worry about so much blending. I also took some inspiration from Baotpham‘s style of makeup/colouring in their works. :)
Materials used: Etchr Perfect Sketchbook, Ohuhu Alcohol Markers, POSCA and Tooli Acrylic Paint Markers, and Prismacolour coloured pencils.
Wow, and I guess I completely forgot to upload this lovely lady! Took a huge risk with painted background for the first time, and I’m still undecided on how I feel about it. I love how her hair and skin turned out, though.
Materials used: Etchr Perfect Sketchbook, Ohuhu Alcohol markers, POSCA and Tooli acrylic paint markers, prismacolour coloured pencils, and gold + white gel pens for some detailing.
This is my entry for a colour contest on Instagram. The theme this week was Yellow 🟡💛
Materials used: Etchr Perfect Sketchbook, Ohuhu alcohol markers, POSCA and Tooli acrylic markers, and prismacolour coloured pencils for some touch ups.
Learned a lot doing this study; I don’t like the finished piece, but the process helped me figure out how to create textures that are trickier for me.
Materials used: Etchr perfect sketchbook, ohuhu alcohol markers, POSCA acrylic paint markers, prismacolor pencils, and white+gold gel pens.
I’m a little mad at myself for putting off finishing this one for so long, but I’m happy enough with the result. Doing a film study on the Truman Show in middle school and then once again in high school changed my perspective of storytelling techniques, and I just adored the film. So, page 2 in the 2024 sketchbook is for Truman!
Materials used: Etchr Perfect Sketchbook, Ohuhu alcohol markers, Prismacolour pencils.
First page in ye olde Etchr sketchbook is dedicated to Mr. Ouroboros, from the Loki TV series. I’ve finally found a blorbo that doesn’t immediately die within two episodes. What an achievement.
Some minor bleedthrough from the back page 😬
Materials used: Etchr Hot Press paper, ohuhu alcohol markers, Prismacolour pencils, and a dash of acrylic markers to hide some mistakes on the bottom layer.
It was a bitter fight to the very end to finish this drawing, but even though there’s so many things I could be nitpick-y about, I think this is my favourite of all my recent projects.
Materials used were Ohuhu alcohol markers, Posca acrylic markers, and Prismacolour pencils on hot press Bristol paper.
I actually really don’t like this one lol
It was more an experiment with mixed media. Majority was done with ohuhu alcohol markers, while the swirls in the background are acrylic marker and prismacolour pencils.
I’d like to say I’ve improved a little with skin tones and facial structure recently. This isn’t my best, but it was fun to make.
This was the second ever drawing I made after trying Ohuhu alcohol markers for the first time. There’s a lot I don’t like about it, but considering how new it all is to me, I’m still content with it. The outline and some small highlights were done with acrylic marker.

Very first Etchr hot press sketchbook, a surprise gift from my lovely parents. I knew I was going to be terrified of using something of such high quality, so I immediately took poscas to the cover to remove the temptation of perfectionism :)
