((I am gonna be setting this blog to low activity. I haven't had much to do here besides one thread in my drafts, but also my multi has picked up a bit and I've been focusing more there.
My multi is over at @clown-demon
I'll still check in and reply to stuff here and there, but my multi is where most of my focus is at.
"I enjoy reading, takess a lot off my mind." Soldan watched from the corner of her eye. Climbing the same tree, sitting on a large branch and resuming to read. "However, I'm stricken as curiouss. What bringss you here to Ionia? Thosse who come by are travellerss, or wanting to know where the market iss. I actually don't get many visitorss, which suckss." Not looking away from where she left off, fins twitching idly.
Reave hurried himself under the large tree, welcoming the shade from the sun. While he couldn't exactly die from the sun, it did cause irritation on his shadow like body. Akin to having a sun burn and being out in the sun...
He didn't pay much attention to the woman that resumed reading on the branch above, until she spoke to him again.
Without darting his gaze up at her, he stared forward while he answered her, "Searching for someone who fled into this world. They must pay for what they have done," he growled and flexed his claws.
"They did something UNFORGIVABLE and must pay for their life. I have followed them to this land, and lost their trail..."

"Real sshame, I ssaid it anyway." lifting a brow, Soldan yawned sleepily before talking. "Reave iss a nice name. I'll bring you a sshaded spot, It wass besside where I wass reading." pointing to where a massive tree was, right near her home. "No ssign of any bright spotss on the other sside." offering a hand, smiling. "C'mon. I'll take 'ya over there."
"Reading, huh? Books are boring..." That and.. The shadow didn't really know how to read. His caretaker taught him how to spell his name, and he knew some of the letters, but he was never taught of such things due to being treated the way he was by his tribe..
Reave wrinkled up his nose and huffed at the sight of the hand, ignoring the offered and started to stomp over to the massive tree where she had pointed.
The sense of dread that the threat had pulled forth was quickly turned into sheer confusion at the words that followed, his mind struggling a moment to make sense of the whiplash he had just experienced. The stranger was closer to him now, the words growled in a way that he knew spelled danger, but...
“You want to know... about the flowers?” Venti repeated, as if making sure that what he’d just heard had been correct.
It was definitely not what he had expected, and a quick glance around told him that no, he wasn’t being pranked. A creature that was created from shadows themselves wanted to learn about... flowers.
“Uhm... did you find a flower you liked in particular or?”
"I believe I spoke CLEARLY what I wanted to know. Are you deaf?" Reave grunted with narrowed eyes and a disgruntled expression.
He didn't find it odd at all that someone would want to know about the flowers in the land. To him, anyone should have an interest in floral of a world.
However.. it was probably jarring when a behemoth of a hulking shadow that seemed so hostile, demanded about flowers of all things...
Upon the question, the white empty gaze of the feline closed in thought. Tilting his head to the side. "I have seen a few that pique my interest," Reave rumbled in thought.
"One that I have seen in my travels, was a purple that had its petals facing downwards.. I saw it on the cliff sides.. I was curious to know of the care it needs to survive.."
The flower in question that Reave was describing, was violetgrass.
It was difficult to recall any events from her past. Her earliest memories was of her already having to mend for herself.
She gave a small nod, one of her own ears giving a light flick.
“... I—... My name is Yolanda.” At the very least she was able to answer that question. “... M-maybe you're right...? I... I don't tend to... th-think about such things...”
It was easier not to think.
"Well, at least you know your name. That is something," Reave commented with a gruff tone.
"Really? You do not think about such things? What is it you think of in that mind of yours?" the beast asked her with a quirked brow.

"I suppose it was foolish of me to think I’d be able to hide from a shadow in the middle of a night,” Venti replied calmly, the only thing betraying his uneasiness the slight clench of his jaw. He had encountered a lot of creatures during his time, but never someone quite like this.
There were too many unknown factors for him to make any sort of defensive or offensive move, the stranger hovering tall next to him, partly obscured by the tree Venti had used as a shelter to cut the line of sight in an effort to escape.
Much good that had done for him.
“Do I have a reason to try again?”
The beast loomed over the stranger, but made no attempts at striking first. Though, the cat like shadow was in a defensive stance, ready to defend if this one should be the one to strike.
But it seemed neither of them wanted to throw the first punch... At least that's what Reave could gather. The beast was more BARK than bite...
"If you were to try again... I would capture you and force the answers I seek from your mouth," a growl bubbled in his throat as he lowered his stance to be on more eye level with the stranger.
"I do not hail from this land, and I wish to learn about it while I am here. Specifically the flowers I have seen sprout on this land..."

"I suppose I should applaud you for your fearlessness against someone taller than you. But you are in MY domain, where my strength knows no bound. Striking FIRST will end in your death," Reave warned with a growl.
It seemed he wasn't striking first.. nor did he attend to unless the stranger angered him..
Yolanda was standing a bit too straight, her eyes fixed on the being before her. So tall...
“... I'm... not entirely sure...” Her tail was swishing anxiously behind her. “I-I'm afraid I know as much as you do... um... s-sir...?”
She couldn't look away. The sentiment was mutual, in which she had never seen anything like him.
"You are unaware yourself?" Reave questioned with a folded ear. That was odd that she didn't know.. Did she perhaps have amnesia of some kind?
The beast grew curious of her.
"I can only assume you might have some... memory issues.. if that is the case... What is your name?"

Giving a suspicious side eye, saving where she was reading and calmly yet quietly, closing the book. "I simply can't 'bring shade' over. However, I know few good spots without any ssun peaking though if that'll work. Yet, I don't believe I caught your name either." walking over, book under her arm. "I'm Soldan, it'ss good to meet you."
"Are you deaf? I did not say bring shade over. I said bring ME to shade," Reave growled with a scowl. He was as grumpy as ever. But being in an unknown land didn't make him feel all too good either.
"My name is Reave. I do not care for your name. Bring me to the shady spots," the shakat spoke coldly.
He was not exactly the friendly type...
